Good one dude 👌 You might find it easier when fitting rear shocks to put the top in first, then you can pull them down to fit the bottom mount 👍

Id highly recommend getting shock socks for the coilovers i put some on mine a year ago and they have kept them pristine as i drive my car in all weather. Great vids as always

Ge some scaffold planks on the garage floor, with wedged ends cut.. you can drive up onto them, and still use your security post

Nice one, Marcus! Gaz are brilliant to work with. I had my Viva HC coilovers custom built by them. As it's super low, the fronts are 2.5" i/d 10" long eye to eye with 400lbs springs & the rears are 1.9" i/d 14" top mount to eye! So short that there's no room for a bump stop!! Cheers. Leigh.

Just a thought try using two nuts and use the top one as a locker for the shocks easier to get off in the future,instead of the nylock cheers

Hi Marcus, not sure you'll see this, but I wonder if you put a slightly smaller pulley on your alternator it might charge better with less RPM?

Hi Marcus another great video. Excellent work on the cars Esther is looking good. That C spanner you used is called a Collet Spanner shortened to C so many people forgot its real name. Most of this type spanner are specialized for one purpose so you can end up with a wall full of them. Cheers have a great weekend.

Hi Marcus , i had Koni adjustable rear shocks on my more door MK2 Escort Ghia and had them really firm, she vibrated my cassette player tape deck to pieces, i think I replaced around half a dozen tape decks over like 6 months before I softened them up, lol 😂, If I still had my Escort I’d be buying everything you’re taking off Esther lol 😝 Ps…..impact guns are freaking fantastic lol Pps….. you should spray all the new suspender parts with ACF50 to keep them nicen kleen, it comes off with brake cleaner.

Awesome Video, I agree with Jim, try a small pulley on the Alternator, it may make it spin faster at idle, yes an Escort with an LSD, quick rack and plenty of power is awesome fun in the wet and dirt 👍

I,ve learned a lot from your videos and reading the comments section. Are the top mounts on the front struts an improvement over the standard Capri ones? Different bearings maybe or altered camber angle or something else? Is there a specific name for that type of mount?
