The current slaughter meted out on innocents in Gaza, fully supported Western Governments, is founded upon a bed of lies. It is said that the truth is the first casualty of war, yet in this war the truth is not hidden -the decapitated bodies, crushed skulls, emaciated children, the callous shelling of hungry souls as they clamour for flour - all of this is known to the world and there remains little doubt that what we are witnessing is truly horrific. Yet the Israeli counter-narrative looks to subvert this truth; these images they claim, however regrettable, are the result of such a heinous crime that they are necessary for rooting out the evil. The Gazan women and children are no more than collateral damage. I have argued that what the hypocritical West fails to see is that for every soul whose death they manufacture, the very edifice upon which they claim a moral high ground is crumbling.
My guest today, Ahmed Paul Keeler argues in a provocative and beautifully written piece that narratives matter. This is why millions are spent on spinning a story about the state of Israel and the traducing the claims of Palestinians. Today we take a forensic look at these narratives.

The irony is that Israel fighting for Gaza’s natural gas reserves. Think Nazi gas chambers. It’s almost funny had it not been so tragic. Greed for the natural resources of Gazans is what these people are dying for. It explains the intell Hamas got and from whom. That is what’s going on. Wake up. Google Gaza’s natural gas reserves. Gaza has billions of tons of natural gas. The intent is to settle Gaza to ship natural gas via the Mediterranean Sea. A journalist on KZbin broke this way before I realized it. The idea that the Palestinian Arabs have always been indigenous to the land of Israel is a fallacy. They are NOT! Claiming the Jewish people are OCCUPYING their INDIGENOUS lands is ludicrous! This memorial etched in stone by the Egyptian Pharoah Merneptah is housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Now that Tehenu (Libya) has come to ruin, Hatti is pacified; The Canaan has been plundered into every sort of woe: Ashkelon has been overcome; Gezer has been captured; Yano'am is made non-existent. Israel is laid waste and his seed is not; Hurru is become a widow because of Egypt. The Mesha Stele from the 8th century B.C. mentions the Kingdom of ISRAEL numerous times. "I am Mesha, son of Chemosh-gad,[25] king of Moab, the Dibonite. My father reigned over Moab thirty years, and I have reigned after my father. And I have built this sanctuary for Chemosh in Karchah, a sanctuary of salvation, for he saved me from all aggressors, and made me look upon all mine enemies with contempt. "The Mesha Stele, also called the Moabite Stone, is a basalt stone slab that has provided historians and linguists with the largest source of the Moabite language to date. The annals themselves are notable for describing Sennacherib's siege of Jerusalem during the reign of king Hezekiah. This event is recorded in several books contained in the Bible including Isaiah chapters 36 and 37; 2 Kings 18:17; 2 Chronicles 32:9. "The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III is a black limestone Assyrian sculpture with many scenes in bas-relief and inscriptions. It comes from Nimrud (ancient Kalhu), in northern Iraq, and commemorates the deeds of King Shalmaneser III (reigned 858-824 BC). It is on display at the British Museum in London, and several other museums have cast replicas." "It is one of two complete Assyrian obelisks yet discovered, the other one being the much earlier White Obelisk of Ashurnasirpal I, and is historically significant because it is thought to display the earliest ancient depiction of a biblical figure - JEHU, KING of ISRAEL. The traditional identification of "Yaw" as Jehu has been questioned by some scholars, who proposed that the inscription refers to another king, Jehoram of Israel."

When I heard the stories of Oct 7 they sounded very familiar... Because they are the ones I heard in my childhood about the war of independence in Morocco 70 years prior. I also heard all my childhood that the Arabs were not humans, just animals. Yet in Morocco Muslims and Jews have been living together in harmony for centuries... I just knew there was no truth to the horrors of Oct 7, but that was impossible to say publicly. And it felt right away that the Palestinians were going to be sacrificed 😢😢😢.

Interesting history! And yes, atrocity propaganda has been fabricated by Israel and disseminated in the West. It has also been debunked by courageous investigative journalism in the West, notably The Grayzone. However, anti-colonial resistance is often violently cruel at times. I’m completely with you and the eloquent speaker in the video and completely support Palestinian liberation. Yet, your comment ‘I knew there was no truth to the horrors of Oct 7th’ seems a little far to me. I’m aware of the huge amount of atrocity propaganda from Israel, some % of Israelis were killed, knowingly, by there own military, mass rape is a fiction- yet there were true horrors against civilians on that day too. Whether we argue that was all part of legitimate resistance or not is one thing, but I feel we should acknowledge the atrocities that occurred against Israeli civilians- just in a human level. Happy to hear different points of view.

Australia too! I was born on a reservation designed by Austs Govt - I was born under The Police Protection Act' which Australias PM Gough Whitlam tore up in 1973, only free for 50 years! But a number of people on earth have an ancestral history of using brutal force to conquer indigenous lands on new (undiscovered at the time) territories, of erasing indigenous cultures, etc.. The doctrine of Discovery created by the Catholic Church in 1493 by Pope Alexander VI has allowed these conquests. In my view the Catholic Church has great responsibility in the disappearance of many indigenous people and cultures all over the world, and in suppressing the indigenous root, identity, of the christianized world.

The North African maghreb was never black. The Arabs expanded and took the North Africans away from the backward Roman empire and established a new renaissance based on faith and cooperation between neighbouring nation, that's what the Arabs did.

The Gaza strip is the part of former British Palestine that Egypt occupied after they attacked Israël in 1948. Together with the UN they then set up various refugee camps in that small strip of land and pushed all the refugees that had fled to Egypt there. The reason Egypt and Israel have been putting Gaza under blockade, is entirely of their own doing. After Israël gave Gaza self governance in 1995, this just lead to more and more terrorist attacks in Israël. By the 2000's there were monthly terrorist attacks. After Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005, they had their first elections, and they elected Hamas. Hamas took over the Gaza strip and turned it into a terrorist hub. That's why Egypt and Israël put it under a blockade. 21% of Israeli's are Arabs, that's 2 million Arab full citizens. The notion that Israel put the Arabs in a concentration camp is rather silly.

A most extraordinary analysis of the current conflict in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, by an exceptional scholar! I think everyone should have an opportunity to listen to what Ahmed Keeler expounds upon, in this incredible interview, so as to have a comprehensive understanding about this conflict and the conditions that set things in motion well over one hundred years ago! The three phases of settler colonialism as discussed in this interview, gives us all the ability to fully grasp how things ended up with the humanitarian nightmare we are watching play out by Israel, against the civilian population of Palestine. Only after listening to Ahmed Keeler’s brilliant explanation, can one begin to grasp the full extent of the depravity being metered out by the IDF against the Palestinian population as a whole. Indeed, the Israeli military, have become killing machines completely devoid of any humanity or empathy for the Palestinians , and it is quite horrifying to see this continue to play out on the ground each day. Knowing that the U.S. and its Western Allies are directly facilitating this horror show, and giving Israel political cover to perpetuate this barbarism, is even more disturbing. That the West remains silent as this butchery continues without end, is even more disturbing. I pray that some cooler heads will prevail, intervene and put an end to this genocide quickly, and allow the desperately needed humanitarian aid distribution to begin on a massive scale !
