If that were the belief of the people in Hamas I think peace would be easily worked out. But as you know, they've committed to their three NOs: - NO RECOGNITION - NO NEGOTIATION .........and (a kinda important one) - NO PEACE Israel has offered peace agreements based on various 2-state solutions since 1937 So it's not Israel this needs to be sold to. I've known many wonderful, kind and warm Arabs. But my step dad (from 8y - 15y) was from Lebanon. I knew nothing about it ... but I heard his take, and there was nothing about it that suggested 'tolerance' or 'peace' in his heart ... nor that of his entire family. His sister Iman, his mother, his brother (his name was literally Jihad; maybe a diff spelling, I was young, but I don't think so).
