Incredible documentary! The NBL needs to post more content of the players in the 80s and 90s who made the league what it is today!

My old man is of similar vintage to Lindsay Gaze... Watching this was the first time in a long time that "my old man leaned forward in his favourite chair and told all of us and his grandkids to shush, that's Lindsay Gaze!!!"

Couldn't think of a better way to start my Friday than watch this with a coffee! I was blessed enough to grow up watching Drewy & MJ, which made it impossible not to become a basketball diehard.

As a lifelong New Zealand basketball supporter, I'll never forget the time Andrew Gaze congratulated the 2002 Tall Blacks on their 4th place at the World Champs. He did it over big screen. It was live on TVNZ. That felt as good as following that Tall Blacks team did. The class and mana of the man.

As a Wildcats fan I hated Andrew Gaze in the early 90's, it was because he was so great and that he wasn't on our team. I have the highest amount of respect for the Gaze family for everything they have done for the sport in our country. Class acts!

Gaze is definitely the nbl goat 🐐. I felt the same with MJ being a Knicks fan. Now I can admire and respect greatness.

I played for the Tigers as a junior during this era and there was a spirit and feel around the club and stadium that is one of a kind. The Gazes, Westover, Ken Watson and many more. I was very grateful for what I learned from the club. When my parents didn’t have money to send me to bball camp the club paid. I never forgot that.

Aussie basketball needs to spread the word on more of our past greats. The gazes are fantastic but this generation also needs to here more of the likes of Eddie palabinskus, Larry Senstock, Danny Morse's, Chris McGraw played centre at 6foot 4!, Bob Young and the Lang Park club were to Brisbane basketball what St Kilda and the Gazes were to Melbourne.

23 minutes in... NBL having the known racist eddie macguire in this doco is dispicable. I'll still watch and Love it, but PLEASE keep that man so far away from the blood sweat and tears that we as a Nation have put into this Sport.
