I love this video…probably watched it a dozen times. This is what happens when an artist gets hold of a well designed instrument..beautiful! Massive credit to the designers of these wonderful new interfaces that creative people can reach out and TOUCH!

I guess it's quite off topic but do anybody know a good site to stream newly released series online?

@Harlan Marcos i use FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)

I wish there were some tutorials on the capabilities of such apps. For the most part reviewers simply showcase the sounds (which is helpful) but there seems to be little available on how to actually understand and be able to use them. No doubt the artistic skills of this performer make “look easy” - but in this now 5 year old video I’ve seem more of what the app is capable of than I’ve ever seen. More, more, MORE! And kudos to Gaz for a stunning performance!

The in app help explains every feature quite well. It’s really easy too.

After watching the Sonic Touch episode, i wasnt expecting to find a "making of" video for the sample you recorded. What a lovely bonus feature! The thing i love about samplr is the intimacy it brings to sampling! You literally get to touch the samples with your fingers and play them with! Sampling has never been so intimate before! Subscribed. :)

Nicely done. What a pleasure it was to have a musical review without some salesman blabbering throughout the entire video. Thanks for sharing!

brilliant demo Gaz! Would love to see a piece on the productivity 'pods' you're setting up in the studio which you've been mentioning on the Sonicstate podcast if you have time. Cheers.

Such a great demo, Gaz; so much fun. This is my favorite iPad app, as well. Were you only using the iPad mic to record your loops?

Nice vid. I got this app recently. I like it but the quantizer just seems to throw things off and make them worse. Hopefully an update might fix it, otherwise a pretty cool app.

Great app, great video! Gaz, I'm having trouble with the 'record mix' function. The results are garbled, with volume dropouts, pops, and scratches. Have you noticed this during your usage? Is it possible I'm missing something obvious?

Saw your Sonic Touch vid, and bought the app. Nice to see you're also using the app yourself as well as doing the reviews! Can't find any way to crop samples... hoping to find an answer on KZbin that isn't "crop the sample on another app"
