Huh... only MBC1, 2 and 5? I'm guessing 3 was a relatively small number of games (though arguably a couple of THE most popular) and 4 seems unconfirmed to exist. Funny I have dumped the info on my collection of GB carts (somehow I have amassed nearly 200 of them). And it looks like the only MBC3 games I have are Keitai Denju Telefang, Wario Land II (monochrome version) and most of the Pokemon games (English Red/Blue/Gold/Crystal, though Japanese Green seems to be an MBC1). Nearly 2/3 of those are MBC1 variants (DMG-BEAN-02 seeming to be the most common GB cart PCB. Have to wonder how many "rare" games use that common PCB :D ) with MBC2 being many of the mono games with save functionality (well those that could live with a paltry 256 bytes).

You could steal your friend's games with that thing.

Bro you can literally just go to a store pick up a game boy game shoved in there with a blank cartridge in and technically won’t be stolen if that blank one is yours and you just push the game data onto it though both storm game data so it’s not illegal

I think most laws distinguish between the physical container you might legally own and the data that you've stolen and stored on it, so erm, no, that's a pretty weak argument.

where do you get it?

Nowadays? Look on Asian auction sites, perhaps eBay, and also sites that used to sell copiers and such, like tototek.com
