First off thx for this video. Super long day at work but the comfortable vibes were spot on 😇 I have to say it took me over a month of binging your channel and several others b4 I locked in on the RG353M but I freaking love that thing. I almost got the 405M but it seemed like there were multiple hardware issues. No regret with the 353M at all. It’s sleek, plays everything up to most of Saturn and some psp. Controls are comfortable. All the features like Bluetooth, Internet, 2 sd slots, etc. It’s awesome!! I haven’t even loaded all the roms I want on it yet! ArcOS is pretty solid too. I take it everywhere. I don’t play it everywhere but knowing that it’s there and I can is somehow very comforting. Been playing Star ocean translated on SNES also Kirby’s dreamland 3, yoshi’s island on SNES. Lots of SNES but I didn’t have one growing up and it scratches that retro itch perfectly.

Finding these handheld emulators, especially the ones pre setup from a company such as litnxt, seem like a perfect entry way into the hobby/emulation of classics(I know, this is just a start to a dangerous rabbit hole of handhelds haha). I found it to be surprisingly comfortable to use with just one hand. Of course, that's not a great idea for fast-paced games but for slower games, I found myself drawn to use it that way. I guess I found it more comfortable sometimes.

This video is 100% how I feel about my Miyoo (only mine in the plus version). I know it's irrational to some, if not most, but I actually love this thing and how it makes me feel. I like holding it and pushing the buttons, even if I'm not playing a game. I love the "feel" of quality when holding it. Oh and I play games on it ALL the time, mostly PS1, but I've also used it to play and beat games I never played when I was a kid, because I didn't have a Sega Genesis. Because of this thing I've played, enjoyed and beat all of the shining force games from the Game Gear to Sega CD. There was a suprising number of great RPSs for the Sega CD! Turbo grafx anyone? My god that had a ton of great games and I never even new about that console until I was well out of my teens! I've tried TONS of other emulators, but NONE are as good, well built, as easy to use (with Onion OS of course) as the Miyoo Mini/Plus devices IMHO. Keep up the great videos Tech Dweeb!

Right on. I own numerous consoles. Spend over half my time w Miyoo Mini plus. It's basically an 80-90's kid dream. Preloaded w basically everything up to PS1. In ur palm for 65$. Bonus: fast grind and auto save. Perfect for RPG's.

I paid almost double for my miyoo mini v4. But you were the reason I wanted one, even though I already experienced the plus model. The mini along with the YUME RETRO 3d printed case is the perfect pocket device. The case is form fitting, so its miyoo shaped and fits in your pocket while completely protecting your device. It comes to work with me every day. I think the miyoo mini, the upcoming retroid pocket mini, and the steam deck are going to be my gaming device trifecta ❤

My favorite thing is a brass Chinese pocket fountain pen. I customized it with a vintage 1940s wahl eversharp 14k nib and sanded off the lacquer so it built a patina I use it every day as an EMT. It's built an amazing patina over a nearly 15 year career.

I found the Miyoo Mini to be too small for me, so I got a Miyoo Mini Plus. They're both great gaming handhelds, and like TechDweeb says, the LitNxt preloaded Onion OS micro sd cards are fantastic! I may have the only two-tone MM+, since I cracked the front purple faceplate while upgrading the speaker and replaced it with a translucent black faceplate. With that and the purple buttons, it looks sick! Also, I like turtles.

Good to know it can be replaced these days. I've had mine since August 2022, just after I got my Steam Deck (which it compliments well) and while I do carry it around with me, there's a low level anxiety over breaking it and not being able to get another. I did just "upgrade" to a 405m, mostly so I also had a decently small horizontal to carry around with me when I don't want to use the Miyoo. I also find the Miyoo comfortable, but I am also a 40-year old man with long, slender fingers. Also, I relate very hard to having a comfort handheld with me. I may never even play it when I'm out and about, but I want SOMETHING with me just because. I feel naked without.

I own a Mini V3 as well as an RGB30 and a steam deck... I love them all for different reasons. Mini V3 plays stuff I can do with one hand like Strategy, puzzle, pinball games and RPGs, The RGB30 plays more powerful stuff I need two hands for and awesome vertical arcade shooters without needing a Tate mode, and then the Steamdeck might be a little big, but handles all the other stuff I could want, but why do I keep looking to add another? There shouldn't be anything else worth adding to the family.

I have a question: Let's say I got the Super Console X2 and it runs off of a 256 gb micro SD card. I was wondering have anybody bought one of these handhelds, inserted the micros SD card from the Super Console X2 and played games on a handheld like this instead of the television screen? Did it work?

That wouldn't work because the system that runs the Super Console X2 is different than the system that runs on the Miyoo Mini. You would be able to copy the rom files off the SCX2 SD card onto your computer and then onto other devices, but not plug-and-play the SD card itself.

I got the Mini V4 recently after it finally came back in stock, having owned the Plus for awhile. Even though I intended it to be a "secondary" pocket device, I was surprised to discover I actually liked the Mini V4 more than the Plus. I love this video. I feel the same about my rg351p. I saw a retro game Corps review on it years ago and it'd been with me ever since. Plays so much so well. I love it! Will upgrade soon when ps2 is played at a decent price but as a pocketable device that plays so much my 351p has been a brilliant buy. I love the Miyoo mini, but the original Rg35xx hits the same boxes, with more confort to the hands and eyes. No extras, no wifi, Bluetooth. Just old games. And garlic OS is just simple and nice. For me, is more straight forward than Onion OS.

I love my Miyoo Mini Plus but it used to come with me with its case in order to protect the screen, I still love it, the hardware, the software. But now I have moved to the Flipzizzle with MuOS due to its convenience with the lid functionality. I can play for 5 or 10 minutes while I wait for something and then just close the lid.

I bought the original Miyoo mini expecting it to continue to be available so I could buy a ton of them and resell them to all my friends. Immediately, I was met with the realization that I a) chose correctly. This device is perfect. And b) this device is far too popular and sold out too fast for me to purchase anymore. So I was stuck with my prototype. I’m happy that there are more available. And I might just give the sd card a try.

I've only recently fallen into the retro emulation handheld world, and fell for some of the hype on some recent Anbernics - but they've all disappointed me except for the RG-35XXSP which I think is fantastic. Nostalgia aside, and there's no denying that warm fuzzy feeling of your first Thing, how would you rate the Miyoo mini verses the flipzizzle if someone wanted an "every day carry" handheld? I recently (too recently...) pulled the trigger on a Retroid 4 pro, but I'm still debating getting something that's ... less of a thing, I suppose, to carry with me.

Hard to say. I think the Mini wins for me, but I can easily see lots of people preferring the Flipzizzle. They're both so different it's hard to say one is better than the other. Let's just say I'm glad I have them both and don't have to decide 😅

Dude you never fail to impress me. I love your vids! I'm watching it now at my mom's job she just got off the pole lol. I have tons of handhelds myself including this one but you know what nobody's taking the time to make which I think would be a huge be it nieche? A virtual pinball handheld PC simply dedicated to the vertical screen with actual physical buttons attached I would buy that in a heartbeat something that could play VPX and future pinball in a good way with all the bells and whistles on. Whoever makes one of those I am so on board! Dude congrats on your smashing subscriptions 100K all day.

Thanks to your videos (and Retro Game Corps) I ended up buying a Miyoo Mini Plus. I freaking love it. Onion OS is so simple to use and at the same time very complex and deep. But if I have to choose, my favourite thing has to be the Steam Deck.
