This is very useful because if you use something to mess with the save files you can transfer mew from gen 1 to gen 3 and then if you have a ds use it to transfer mee from gen 3 to gen 4 and then use a 3ds with gen 5 to transfer from gen 4 to gen 5 and transfer it from pokemon bank to pokemon home if you have most gen pokemon

You can access the deleted photos on the gameboy camera too correct? I know you can do it with a device, not certain if this is the one.

I think you can if you use the save data and rom from the camera with another piece of software, the built in one only shows what’s already on the camera. Maybe I’ll try it out tomorrow and see if I can recover any deleted ones! Will update you if I do!

Honestly, if you can get it, it is the prime and most accessible form to get into gameboy collecting rather than dropping double or triple for an actual (and perhaps more uncomfortable) console.

Just looking at the cartridges (without opening them), it was obvious they were fake. Till now, at least, they are not real good "copies" of GBA games, maybe in the future it could be harder to recognize them, but, by the moment, it is not, and those 2 copies, are specially bad, not only the sticker, you just need to see at the GameBoy Advance logo "engraved" in the cartridge itself (just compare it to one of your original games, and you will see it easily (till you can see it with only a fast look at the cartridge)

This might be a dumb question, and by God it surely must be a standard feature of such a device, but, since you never actually showed it, I just want to check if you can play the games properly full-screen (still at the correct aspect ratio, so with black borders), but just not in some app window?

The pocket adaptors don't fit in the operator :( I tried it with the game gear one and it doesn't go down far enough to connect. Doubt it would have recognised it anyway

Just curious If you have Swiss running on your GameCube why do you need to use the boot up disc?

nice, I wonder if the ZAS game works correctly with this. The game uses 2 flickering background and most emulator can't handle that game. Also is there a "retro pixel mode" to see each pixel separately like on the original gameboy. Like the grid that goes over.

Yes ZAS works properly, it actually mentions that game specifically in the settings! I couldn’t see any screen filters like the pixel grid though unfortunately. Analogue pocket still wins in that regard!

For me is perfect i retain back up forever my save of gold, never lose it again,if the battery die i restore it,also i can upload in the cartridge an online save also,i do it in firred and have all the Pokémon including the event's 😁

If it has a black bubble on the PCB on GBA games it is 99% fake. Also look for numbers engraved on the cartridges artwork on the centre to bottom right of the label usually something like 22, 41, 22A, not always a give away but there is usually one there on UK Cart's.

But the idea is to be able to keep playing on an original cartridge, and be able to play homebrews that don’t have roms online so I do see it having more use than just an emulator

Ah yeah the GB Operator is okay. I dont like it. Its using mGBA Emulator. So close to be very accurate but not perfect. Analoge Has atm the best Emulation. (YES hardware emulation is still emulation) I prefer still real hardware like SuperGameboy 2 for GB and GB games with Border Support // DS with a capture Card for GBA. And Gameboyplayer on the GC with HDMI Mod for Gameboy Color :) But when analoge will make things better with their dockstation i might switch to them for everything.

I'm in a weird situation where I agree I'd prefer hardware emulation or original hardware, but the convenience of this and being able to use it directly on my PC for capture kind of out weighs the negatives. I've not really noticed any performance issues or any inaccuracies, which I thought I would as I've always shied away from using emulators. What sort of issues have you come across using mGBA compared tot he Pocket or original system?

@@RetroBreak for one ssve states ( yea not a real hardware thing) have a lot of issues typicaö for mgba. Also some games have sound loops or baclground issues. Just tpblet you know i also use all my console for caoturing. Still working on a modded gc with build in gc loader swiss and a hdmi directly on the motherboard but thibgs like that cost massive amount of money same for DS // 3ds capture cards.
