I think your miles off the mark with your Fascist remark, since when? Gibraltar has never been under a Fascist regime, Spain on the other hand was under the dictatorial control of the Generalisimo for 36 years and there are obviously still elements of fascism in their current political undercurrent which unfortunately still filters down to their people. My opinion is that "Gibraltar Espanol" is just a blanket rallying cry told to unwitting Spanish children from the time that they are young as political indoctrination. Most Spanish people I have met are nice people and those who have an awareness of the history of Gibraltar or who the people of Gibraltar are and their identity share a massive respect and understanding of our culture.
