Since it's a twin engine job anyoldways ... you'd think they would put out a Mosquito or maybe a little B25 or a B26. A little Caribu would be too much to hope for. I suppose with a little re-configuring, carving and sanding almost anything is possible. Maybe you could do a vid on "re-purposing" one of these little guys. The one thing to remember is paint is heavy.

Good points, and I have a ton of ideas on "re=purposing" these electronics and motors.

@@TimMcKay56 Just in time ... fall is upon us and winters coming on. Getting too windy to fly, at least up here in the hills of Georgia. I all really looking forward to see what you can do. Hopefully, I'll be busy re-purposing the fuselage of a Piper Cherokee and most of a Honda Goldwing into my next daily driver.

These little models are really nice, but way too small and fast for me at my old age. I'm more into the ones like you have pictured at the start of your KZbin channel.

This is WAY off topic but I have no one else to ask. Do you think that it might be possible to design, build and fly a glider that 1. would be poly dihedral if necessary for maximum stability w/o electronic aids, 2. no more than 16-18 inch wingspan for back yard flying, 3. nimble enough for back yard flying, 4. VERY slow and having gentle flight characteristics and 5. powered with a SMALL motor sufficient to tow it to altitude ... maybe the motor could be mounted above the wing to save props. Obviously, it would have to be light, but VERY durable. The purpose of this a/c would be to help flightless old birds like me learn to fly.

Sure, this can be done. See my video on Foam Board planes for newbies: kzbin.info/www/bejne/in_ceWB-mtufrtk Also, the key here is a light weight model. There are a lot of smaller foam models at www.HorizonHobby.com that could fit the bill. Also, my review of the Galaxy Ship is a super easy to fly three channel RC model.
