I have the BF109, just wondered if you guys use the rudder during flight? I’ve not worked out what to do with it yet! I just fly with the ailerons and elevators. Not sure about the rudder despite reading as much as I can. Thanks.

It is possible to fly 'right stick only' and keep the throttle constant and that is the easiest way to fly with these. But using the left stick means throttle and rudder come into play. If you wish to turn left and just use the ailerons it will turn ok. But if you also use left rudder at the same time the turn is much tighter. In Midd mode you will notice it even more. Give it a try and compare. I fly using rudder at times. When I was chasing it meant I could get on his tail quicker.

@@evoermine Yeah good idea to progress in stages. You'll find the rudder makes a difference even in beginner mode too.

@calvertfilm I just got one of these. How are you finding the range. Mine keeps beeping 4 times for range warning at 20m
