These three could review public toilets and I would watch every second of it. I'm going to miss the cars and destinations, but the trio together will always be a riot.

I feel the same, their dynamic was always been more than just beyond cars and I am so glad they have flourished in their individual projects, but I hope so badly that we can see the gents one more time in another format. They just bring a comfort and joy that I don't think television has ever had an equal in, so here's to hoping the gents carry on in a new form after the GT.

That’s a question I think we should stop asking anyway. When a person retires should be up to the individual, whether they are famous or not… I just don’t like the idea that you need to retire at a certain age. Everyone should judge when it’s time for them on their own…. :)
@Jon7763
@Jon7763 7 ай бұрын
@NS_first we're not talking about age, we're talking about proficiency and the desire to do the job. who would you rather have working for you? someone who is 70+ and is great as his job and loves being there or a 20 something who does the bare minimum and complains the whole time?
@NS_first
@NS_first 7 ай бұрын
@@Jon7763 that’s part of my point. That 70 year old who still has the ability and desire to do the job shouldn’t have to retire until one of those isn’t the case anymore. But that decision they should be able to decide on their own, not be pressured into it because society thinks everything has an expiry date or something. So yes, I would pick the 70yr old for sure. I dislike that some people look at people of a certain age and think they need to retire. One person might embrace a hobby and be happy in retirement. Another might not… hope I make sense. :)

After years I could comprehend how much top gear were absolutely nothing without the trio. You can genuinely tell that the Sand Job took its toll on Hammond. He looked absolutely shattered but somehow was still able to fix his car and entertain. If that had been me I would have broke😂

I would be perfectly fine with the three of them just travelling around, without all the stunts and scripted antics. Have some banter, tell us some iteresting information about the country. All three of them are great with serious stuff. Clarkson is actually a history buff!

You know what would be funny, is if may and Hammond turned up on an episode of Clarkson's farm to "help out". we know May would be in his element with doing anything with a tractor...and Hammond well again could you imagine him driving a tractor and having that massive grin on his face.

May's remarks don't differ at all. You've never met genuine friends who don't annoy each other. Acquaintances can achieve that. Friends never will. You can only truly annoy when you're close.

They’ve been making shows and content longer than I’ve been alive. And I’m so grateful for all they’ve done for the car world. It’s a shame to see it come to and end but I’m glad to see they choose to end it while they still can. I hope more content is made with them other than cars since they’re all entertaining together regardless is cars are involved or not. Nonetheless, I’m glad we have almost 25 years of film to look back on

Clarkson without Hammond and May: comedy superstar, as he is today. Hammond without Clarkson and May: highly successful TV presenter earning 20% of Clarkson's income. May without Clarkson and Hammond: woke high school history teacher with spitballs all over the back of his sweater.

My wife knows little and cares even less for cars and car shows but even she loves these guys and cracks up at their jokes and misadventures. At 42 they have been a part of my life for over half of it and I wish them well once this run is over. I haven’t watched their solo projects yet but once they are finished with the collaboration I will check them out and hope to enjoy them half as much.

When TopGear was their show that was THE SHOW. Grand tour is like 10% of what TopGear was.

It ended because of what Clarkson wrote about a certain so called princess. If you can see past the controlling "princess" Clarkson said what many people think about a Gold Digger he just went a bit far (as usual) with the words he used. Top Gear was the trio so when they left the BBC couldn't carry it on with the useless muppets they picked to try and carry on but it was embarrassing to watch and a joke.

I cant underestimate how much ill miss this show, their humor, and their antics. Started watching top gear when i was 10 at like season 2 and have grown up watching their shows.. its always been easy watching, comfort food like entertainment. For the past several years, you could tell their adventures were physically getting harder on them. I dont blame them but it's still disappointing. Theres no way they make another show. Richard and Jeremy like the country but james hates it. Jeremy and james like food but richard hates it. They have nothing else in common.
