Added to which non-outlaws with guns do next to nothing to prevent outlaws with guns being outlaws. So having only outlaws with guns makes for a safer society than having everyone with guns, by the simple fact that less outlaws have guns, which then of course makes for a less militarized and less aggressive police force whose mistakes are rarely fatal. Its more true than you think. My father used to work as a VAT man; when there is a suspected criminal organisation, they were meant to ring them up in advance to let them know that they need to hide their weapons and get their fraudulent paper work ready, which is then ticked off and they are allowed to continue. Supposedly it is done to protect the VAT men and accompanying police, as 'busting in on them' could result in them using their guns and getting civil servants killed. Sometimes the police say that they like to 'monitor the criminals' as well, which just means allowing them to continue to be criminals and maybe, one day, far into the future; they might do something (probably after they have done some huge crime, like how the police are ALWAYS aware of these muslims who do terrorist attacks, but they never apprehend them until AFTER they have killed a bunch of people). If you are an honest Englishman though? Random inspections, no tip off, and they will come down on you hard. If your only crime is looking at a copper wrong; you are thrown on the floor, arrested, threatened, all your details taken. The truth is that criminals (and foreigners) have more rights than innocent people (especially straight white natives) in modern day Britain.

AS a retired Police officer of 30 years service, retiring in 2001, 25 years on the streets, I am totally disgusted with the senior management of the Met Police, the Courts and the woke brigade. When the "Job " was a force, it provided a service, now a "Service" it provides little.. The 2 bites of the cherry brigade have made it impossible to POLICE the streets ,look at the officers involved in the fatal collision in Penge, chasing a stolen car, despite being cleared in a court of law, the are now being looked at for incorrect radio procedure. You try chasing a vehicle safely and speaking on the radio, its a farce . The Courts in the 70s, protected officers, one magistrate famously used to say, "You have assaulted one of my officers" six months. The issues yesterday would have been sorted with robust policing and a few cracked heads

I used to be a great defender of police and granted them the utmost respect. That changed in 2014 when I was arrested on a lie and treated like a criminal. Only after they “investigated” did they realise I was telling the truth and the accuser was indeed the liar. I lost faith after that. Then when they took a knee and ignored real crime taking place during the BLM protests…they earned disgust from me. Now with them cowering to Palestinian terrorist supporters they’ve done their dash. I don’t care anymore. I’ve no sympathy, no respect, not a care in the world for the police. They are our enemy. Well, you can get results. I've had 8 complaints upheld this year just for the Met. The problem arise when most of the public who make the complaints do not know the rules. When you know the rules you get results. You have to read up on the law. Read up on the statutory guidance [law] on complaints, and on the code of ethics. Chat GPT is actually quite good at writing complaints. What you also need to do is to think what excuses can the police come up with. FOI requests can cut those escapes off. For example, ask if they have an exemptions from national standards? SAR for all the video. Another one, insist that you see the police's statements about your complaint so you can respond. That's one of the tricks.

I'm afraid I feel very little sympathy for these police officers. Many of them are happy to spend their time picking on ordinary law-abiding citizens for non crimes, but when it comes to actual criminality, they couldn't care less. It seems to me that most police officers would happily do whatever is asked of them, as long as they can look forward to a nice early retirement with a fat pension.

I served in Merseyside Police for over 16 years. I resigned and walked in 2014 in utter contempt at the state of policing and the senior so called, 'management.' The resource levels are abysmal. Tory budget constraints meant that as opposed to every frontline officer being trained to the Home Office standard for Public Order situations, only a small number where subject to Public Order training. As I recall, only a handful of staff from each block were trained- a fraction of the establishment. Previously ALL front line officers were issued with full protective Public Order kit, and trained to the basic Home Office standard- that included being petrol bombed and walking through flames. The refusal of British politicians to invest in water cannon is disgraceful. They would far sooner prefer to see police officers getting pelted with bricks and other missiles, then use water cannon on rioting SCUM. It's the same moronic mentality that officer's displayed in WW1, when they refused to permit RFC pilots to use parachutes- least it lead to pilots leaping out of SE5's at the first sign of Fritz! Where are the senior ranks speaking out and condemning these vermin? Where is the leadership? I can tell you this for a FACT. In 1981 when a certain community rioted because they didn't like the police arresting a male for a road traffic offence, one Merseyside senior officer briefed staff about to go out on the frontline line to face the bricks, bottles and fire bombs. He said to those officers, *"I DON'T CARE ABOUT ARREST, GO OUT.....AND GIVE THESE PEOPLE A BLOODY GOOD HIDING!* That quote was very well known within Merpol many years later. I joined in 1997, and I was told about it and the name of the person who issued it. He was A LEADER. Fast forward to 2023, and all the senior ranks are in the police today are just POLITICIANS, completely self-serving and their sole interest is their own career progression. TJF- THE JOB'S FUCKED- another phrase which is known universally in the UK police service. My first Sgt told me that when I met him for the first time, he joined in 1968 and was the epitome of what a good copper should be. He was firm, fair, robust and HARD AS NAILS. EVERY SINGLE WORD THE GENTLEMAN ABOVE IS SAYING IS *TRUE.*
