I live and worked in Saudi, Qatar and UAE the Muslims from middle east and other islamic countries live peacefully here. Yes the law of the land is very strict. The radicalization of kids to hate non muslims are unsurprisingly very common. Many islamic schools in my country will teach their students that jews are evil and they'll grow that hatred towards the jews... only once they grew and if they mature up they would be able to see the light outside of the radicalization, to be able to think that all humans are equal. but sadly not the case for muslims... Nice and brave that he tells his story! Particularly poignant is when he tells of his visit to a Jewish home where the parents entrust their child to him! That's how it is in many Jewish homes! Glad I saw this interview today. You have brass balls! I also had to walk away from hate & left with no family, no friends, no support, no understanding. I faced shunning, cruelty, no compassion, no empathy. The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.I don’t know how I’m still alive since I wanted to die many times. I also feel the same as you about the war, rationally and emotionally. Your “higher understanding” is truly a gift from God whether you realize it or not.
