Thing about Metera a lot of people don’t know is when she shoots that arrow into the air that rains down more arrows, that initial shot is air unblockable. The raining shots can be blocked in air and on the ground. I ran quite a few matches as Ferry vs a pretty decent Metera and it wasn’t easy until I figured that out. Another thing is, is to spot dodge or roll through projectiles more often.

@@kenamada5451 Yeah Charlotta is pretty safe and has the smallest hurtbox, on top of demon flip mixups and great midscreen combo damage. Clear top 1 contender along with Metera.

She's plus on everything cept DP and even meter burn DP leaves her sorta even, even both her skybound arts are safe and only punishable if you spot dodge at the right time. Yep, not even if you spot dodge correctly ONLY if you spot dodge at the perfect time can you punish. Gran is super high tier too, but Metera and Charlly are too much.

@@MaskedGuyCh Charlotta's crown is actually a hurtbox, just for FYI. So it's not too horribly small, but I know what you mean. Lol the only safe way around her demonflip is crouching and even then its still scary. What an scary potato.

The dodge mechanic is so under utilized I've noticed. It would've alleviated so much pressure had Punk used it more. Not just that, but Katalina's special trait cancel into dash to close the gap would've helped him too significantly.

Yeah, the only issue with spot/slide dodging is when to use it. It’s true you can get a huge advantage from it but if you mess the timing up or dodge too late then your’e left with the recovery frames though short are very punishable. But i do agree punk could have used it to his advantage a lot here

In fighting games most fundamental stuff transitions to the other. A pro player will most likely be strong in any 2D FG he plays because of the fundamental stuff he already mastered like good movement,neutral,defense and then he just has to learn the game specific stuff like combos or mechanics and he'll already be strong.
