Never played this game before. Played a street fighter from sf2 all the way to Alpha 3. It's not her zoning really that causes problems, but her projectile pressure, footsie pressure and how its used to complement each other really stand out. Plus the rate in which she builds her "super meter" is the fastest out of all the characters ive seen.

Whenever people complain about zoners and call it "spam" its hilarious. These same people lack the fundamentals to even play the character and probably run into projectiles all day cause they have no patience or neutral. Im so glad this game has zoning to expose people.

@@gamingtyphoon8989 i do because once im in its usually free and i actually have patience to inch my way in at neutral or i just outzone them myself. Fighting zoners tests my neutral as i said people just run into projectiles then get mad, this is why the new generation of players are progressively worse. All these new games are taking out chip dmg or barely allowing zoning (dbfz) so all people do is rushdown and mix.

@@PhantomEmperor I mean can't speak for this game cause I haven't played it but in stuff like mk, injustice, etc zoning is just kinda cheap and hard to deal with especially considering the online environment. I don't mind losing but that play style is just annoying to play lol and I'd get tired and just find another opponent. But I get why you don't mind them.

@@gamingtyphoon8989 i play both games, ive personally never had a problem against zoners, actually i find it easier due to you being able to duck under most projectiles. Some games dont let you straight up crouch under things so you just take chip. As i said patience and fundamentals take you a long way, most people just get frustrated too easy and dont wanna play neutral.

I never played this game before but, judging from the way Matera works she seems a bit overpowered. Her zoning attacks have a little-to-no cooldown, she can do a quick overhead attack, and she can move across the battlefield very quickly thanks to her hopping maneuver. Heck, even Cloud805 put her in the S-Tier on his tier list so that gives more proof on how powerful she really is when compared to the other fighters. Hopefully, the developers nerf her 'cause right now, she seems like a hassle to deal with.
