@@draeb2797 To be fair, Percival's arrogant douche act is kind of a facade. He acts like that because that's how he thinks a king should act, but when it comes down to it he cares a lot about his friends.

@@draeb2797 Percival is actually a very nice guy and puts other people's well being above his own. Hes the youngest of three brothers in his former kingdom but he left his life of luxury as prince to travel around alone and observe common people as a way to find the best way to help them.

Percival seems like a pretty straightforward character. Not a ton of ways to open up the opponent, just gotta space that sword properly and make sure you know how to get your damage off if you manage to land a hit. I like it.

Dogura likes Villans or Villan'ish characters, Besides, Perc has nice dmg, Gran's dmg will def be nerfed so probably another reason. Probably after March update we shall see how dmg goes through the entire cast. Azrael is just a sick character to play in general :D Do you also play Percival?

Maybe the reason so few use this character or does know how to use him efficiently cause of his charge mechanic. Remember playing BBCF back in the day, one would encounter a makoto player once in a blue moon. I could see it as something similar.

Nah it's because you have to be very disciplined to use perci. Alot of the cast let's you get away with mashing or gimmicks when perci is very straightforward and relies on heavy execution for punishment. Most people don't bother when they can be a Lancelot or ladiva to spam themselves out.

@@Kevin-qh1ve Pretty sure it's balls-deep only, so normal throw is a tad farther range. It's 12f startup, normal throw is ~8f. But you get guaranteed stuff off it, if you press them into corner w/214X~C it's super scary because you get fat combos since you can do 22X juggles in corner/combo after 623C(P), etc.

From the footage and streams i've seen it honestly reminds me more of sf4 a lot more footsie focused, cause if you get hit combos can generally do over half hp, Sako talks about that aspect of the games on his stream, but havent watched him a while though

NavCo it is slow and there is a real sense of momentum - slow to start up a dash, for example. It is enjoyable in its own way though
