Met GC at A Olive Garden in Central Fl. He was very kind. Witty. Said his wife's name was same as myne ( Brenda) She passed soon after that. Signed an autograph , I thanked him He was a good tipper. ( I was his server ) A genuine guy. We lost a true genuine comedian. Story telling at its best. You will be missed for a very long time. His generation was tough. We have Kat Williams. Dave Chippell& Bill Burr. . George really made you think. In a good way. .

The recording isn't that bad. Do note that it was recorded in 1988 when tape machines were the current recording technology. Only thing I can complain about is that the first five minutes have been cut out of the show. There are other videos on KZbin that contain the beginning if you're concerned about hearing the first jokes.

I have been watching George Carlin since I was a teen. I saw him live in Dallas, in 1983, so, I have been listening to his recordings on You Tube, to see how the jokes have aged. I heard a semi-stolen joke!!! The, "You make a color and well wipe it out." Was originally from; "The Two Black Crows." The original joke was: "See you down by the pawn shop!!!" "How will I know if you get there first???" "If you get there first, you draw a line across the front doorway, and if I get there first, I'll rub it out!!!"
