Excellent video. I just bought a 2022 used GC1725M and I'm learning about it and this video helped explain a few things I was not sure about! Thank you!

Bought my GC1725M brand new in 2020. Front hood latch got replaced with 2021 system as the 2020 plastic one kept breaking, so dealer installed the metal frame under the dash like 2021 and later models have. I got little over 800 hours on it now, overall it's a decent tractor although there are some issues with it... If you get the TLB model, the seat is awful, very uncomfortable. Loader is pretty weak too so you can't pick up too much weight at all, and I don't believe it has free float mode on rear 3 Point Hitch. But overall I am happy with it would I buy this model again, hard to say, my dealer is close by and they have a reputation as one of the best and I'd have to agree, always very helpful and willing to assist, same can't be said about local JD dealership and nearest Kubota is about 1 hour drive away. Drive over mower deck is pretty nice and reliable, Woods rototiller is also fairly nice. I'd rate it at 7.5☆ out of 10

On the front end loader what are the two parts that are lynchpined in that rotate down?
@weldcojcb7 күн бұрын
Those are the kickstands for when you take the loader off of the tractor. Please see our other video that goes into specific step-by-step detail on how to remove the loader.

Sorry, somehow missed this comment coming through. The 1735 and 1740 have been replaced with an 1835E or 1835M and 1840E or 1840M. Where are you located?

I am looking at a new leftover 2022 and am wondering if there is any difference between it and a 2024. Does the year affect resale value as on a car?
@weldcojcb6 ай бұрын
I apologize, i didn't see this comment come through. I'm sure you'll get a better deal on the 2022, but year doesn't matter as much as hours on tractors. No changes from 2022 to 2024 models.

I'm confused on lowering the belly mower vs 3 point. Same lever? What distinguishes which one you are lowering? I don't think you explained this when talking about the speed and height levers vs the control lever.
@weldcojcb Жыл бұрын
Sorry about the confusion on this. The same lever will raise and lower the belly mower as well as the 3-point. You can control the height it lowers the belly mower to by adjusting the knob that would be by your left heel as you are sitting on the seat on the tractor. It has numbers 1-5. That knob will control how low you can set the belly mower down. One thing you can do is turn that knob to the locked position, with it in the locked position you can raise and lower the 3 point without raising and lowering the belly mower. However, there is no feature that allows you to raise and lower the belly mower without raising and lowering the 3-point. That can be kind of confusing, please let me know if further clarification is needed. Thank you for watching and for the question!

Can the seats be replaced with ones that have arm rest
@weldcojcb Жыл бұрын
You're better off just adding the arm rests to your existing seat. Holes are already there for installation and you can order the armrests through your local agco dealer parts department. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I cant engage the rear PTO at idle. It's a very harsh engagement and kills the engine. I have to bump the RPMs up to around 1600-1700 to keep the engine from being choked out. Its still a very hard engagement but the tractor stays running. Anyone else have this issue?

Anyway to get more power to the backhoe
@weldcojcb7 күн бұрын
no, some people think pulling on the levers will create more power, and then they'll come in with bent levers. It's a valve, once it's open, there's nothing pulling harder on the lever will do. You could always go up in tractor and backhoe size.

I can't take mine out of 4wd. Any suggestions?
@weldcojcb Жыл бұрын
if you go forward just a touch and then go in reverse while you pull up on the lever it should come right out.

Well the tractor industry has taken its marketing from the pickup truck market. TRICKS AND TOY'S SELL!! I have a thirty year old fifty inch deck lawn tractor with a Kholer 20hp and is still cutting grass and pulling my yard trailer. My son-in-law bought one of these TOY'S and it didn't make ten years before it was a big $$$ problem.
@weldcojcb Жыл бұрын
Not sure what tricks you're referring to..... Like anything else, longevity of the machine depends on how well you take care of it. We've sold plenty of machines that are well over 10 years old and still running great! Just as there are plenty of tractors like yours out there that are no longer running or operational. Thank you for watching and your input!

I bought a MS 1725M mostly for the front end loader. I had NO IDEA how often I would use that bucket! And if I wanted to, I could also use this neat little tractor for mowing. Thankfully, I don't need it for that. On the other hand, gardening has taken on a whole new meaning. Now I can move large amounts of compost and dirt effortlessly. When you're 67, "effortless" also takes on a whole new meaning. Yes, I suppose you could call it a toy. But it is the most useful, back-saving toy I've ever owned. Absolutely no regrets in buying it.

The one thing that I have been searching for and you skipped it the knob that controls the up and down speed of the 3-point hitch right up above it on the right there's a lever that points up and down what the heck is that thing I cannot figure it out
@weldcojcb7 күн бұрын
I apologize that I didn't see your comment until now. If you're talking about directly under the loader joystick, that is the loader joystick lock. It will do just that, lock the loader joystick.
