If you haven't done the A-pillar bars yet, I highly recommend putting the driver seat and passenger door on while you are mocking them up. it's really tempting to try keep complete symmetry in the bars from side to side, but remember, your co driver won't have to worry about bashing his knuckles when he takes the steering wheel off or checking the passenger side mirror when leaving parc expose. also depending on the angle of the a pillar bars, it can be a huge pain in the ass to get the dash in and out, and lets be real, it's not going to be just the one time putting the dash in.

That's great advice, wish I hadn't done it yet haha. I just mounted the dash yesterday and ran into that issue, I got it to be able to get it in and out relatively easily but I definitely had to remove more than I intended. I should have added a bend in them to bring them farther out of the cabin and have more clearance, and visibility.

You should be able to make the A pillar support bar out of one continuous piece. (Not 2 pieces - 1 above and 1 below the upper door bar) Because the A pillars lean in at the top, it means your A Pillar bar will also have to head in at the top to make the join. If you straight line it from your front lower mounting foot, up to the node at the upper corner of the windscreen, the A pillar bar will not fully intersect with the upper door bar, because of the top of the car being narrower than the lower section. You can then keep the upper door bar, and the A pillar support bar each from a continuous piece, which will be stronger. But you need to make sure it doesnt intrude too far into the cabin. Then you can still gusset and tie in the A pillar bar to the upper door bar aswell.
