Watching this makes me so emotional. My dad lived here in the 70s & 80s, and then moved to the Netherlands where I was born and raised. In 2 months I will be joining the IDF as a lone soldier. Just seeing this footage and realizing that this is what Tel Aviv looked like in the years he lived there is beautiful! So much has changed yet so much is still the same!

Super based because the city wasn't full of skyscrapers and you could actually afford a house inside the city

The sky used to look so beautiful up until 1999....so many color on different days and different hours of the day..... don't know what happened...😥

Either your father is 800 years old or you meant the village of Mijdal located were Ashkelon was founded anew in 1949.
