4:38 Looks like the Target store at Palomar and Broadway in Chula Vista already existed. Back when Target had that tall 3-sided sign which belonged to its former tenants White Front and later FedMart before Target in 1983. White Front's tall 3-sided sign was later taken down in 2003 and replaced with modern pylon signs with Target's logo. And it also took place way before the Palomar Trolley Center plaza was built with Food 4 Less, Office Depot, and Ross Dress For Less as its major tenants.

I've spent most of my life living in Chula the last 10 years were spent in this specific part, drove through all of these streets so many times. Now I'm still here just a little further north at the heart of it all in downtown CV. Crazy how much changed and how much stayed the same. even now its still changing with all these new expensive condo complexes popping up

Being that I was once a Chula Vista Police Officer. You started your drive from Orange Ave, to Palomar to 5th then onto Oxford and stop at fourth Ave. then you find yourself at the Palomar Trolley Station. good times those 80s. That is when I was with CVPD....

I had forgotten about the “burgundy busses with the stripes.” Also I didn’t know that the corner of Palomar and Broadway use to house busses and RVs. Now its a cheap plaza!

The begining of the video starts off at Quintard and makes a right on Orange?
@diegodelapuente16657 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is the end of Quintard. I lived on Quintard late 80's early 90's. I had forgotten you could make a left or right back then. There is now an island on Orange and Fourth Avenue which only lets you go right (West) on Orange.
