The Jew may have wanted to return to the temple but God had no time for the temple. He had it completely destroyed in a very strong statement.

How would you approach a Christian who remains convinced by his own conscience yet remains ignorant of God’s Word by not reading it?

Why does he say Jesus was a stone worker and not a carpenter? I recall him saying this several times.

I believe. At the time of Christ stone was used much more than wood. And possibly a carpenter was a stone mason as well. Not sure though. I myself am a carpenter/stone worker.

46:15. The word for atonement. I’m having trouble finding the word mentioned here. Qorban, qarab, kippur, kaphar??? I think he says kippur here. Idk the difference between kippur and kaphar and I’m having trouble finding a good explanation. Idk where qorban and qarab fit into atonement language either

43:00- I must slightly disagree here. Yes, we bodily die once. Born once, die twice, born twice, die once stuff. I’m not reaching to take these out of context. We must die twice (once in Christ) so we die twice, either once in Christ or after judgement. I’ll sticky this verse and interpretation with something Randall taught me. What is good/right? Do we say the Bible teaches us what is righteous? then God kills people, so He must not be righteous? NO, God is righteous. We cannot understand as children, sometimes God tells us “because I said so”. Why did Lazarus die twice? because Jesus said so. God makes rules. He is the judge and ultimate authority. Rules are set in stone for us because we cannot determine on our own what is righteous. God can and will. We die once, if God decided to make an exception for Lazarus or anyone else that was raised from the dead. So be it. If Moses (big if here) is one of the witnesses in Revelation, he will die twice. It may contradict the ‘rules’ but God makes the rules. I’ll stick to the Enoch/Elijah being the 2 witnesses. What a fun debate, of these things we cannot speak in detail [9:5b]
