Saudações aqui do Brasil.

The issue with homeowners and their upper roof rain gutters or installing submerged sump pumps is relying on homeowners to clean them or maintaining them. Homeowners generally become complacent as leaves, pine needles, dirt, debris fill up their gutters and sumps over the seasons and obstructions and overflows go unnoticed.

It's interesting to see how far spring is advanced in North Carolina ! Looks like the homeowner has already cut the grass at least once ? I would think that after connecting up a drainage system at the bottom of an eavestrough (gutter) arrangement, due diligence would lead you towards ensuring that the eavestroughs above were clear of leaves and shingle residue - simple but possibly dangerous work on some of those high roofs.

We have to leave an air gap between gutter and line and PVC dosent work with our freeze and thaw cycles. It has broken at all of the joints in the pipe. only spot I still will use it on is basement footings as our frost level usually stops at 40-48 inches.
