Hi everyone! Apologies for the sudden cuts in this one - when the Internet drops out I usually quickly say so, but during this stream I had a blackout as well as internet outages so my local recording didn't save. That means I had to use the Twitch VODs and obviously these end when the internet dies and before I can say something. It was a bit of a cursed stream this week!

Rancher dupes need their priority set to very high for ranching and high for farming, Use a cycle sensor for your incubators to turn on only when your rancher dupes are at work, preferable when they first get on duty so its the first thing they do out the gate. Grooming stations set to 7, incubators set to 9, shearing set to 8. You have to set priorities else you will be constantly micromanaging or wondering why things arent getting done and starving. I also recommend turning down priorities on some dupes or restricting them completely so they can't do them, or they will be doing tasks they're not good at and stealing the " experience" from the better dupe who is supposed to be doing that task. i.e., only having your researcher doing research, banning all others. A good side gig for your researcher is farmer, doctor artist, in that order. Max out your specialized dupes asap, the better they are the faster the work gets done and the faster they gain exp. you will never be able to leave your home base let alone running multiple worlds and rockets if your constantly micromanaging your starter base.

wow ive never seen a dupe suffer THAT much speed penalty. Thats nuts

With the new temperature mechanics they really increased the potential to slow dupes down.

Im sure you noticed later on, but i noticed your radbolt reflector was pointing up not down towards the research station.

Hey Fungus, I'm not sure if you picked up on it by now but the radbolt reflector isn't pointing to the terminal it looks like its pointing to the roof.

you have Bammoths to shear why didnt you get some decent suits by now., the distance you had them going was too far with the crappy mask.. I never build those their a waste of time.
