Awesome Job!! Make sure you bring it and your Blazer along with you for the May adventure run in Owen Sound. One of the three trails is geared towards super scale trucks.

You guys are really crazy!! 😀 This rig is epic 👍. One tiny thing which is not yet true scale and you may do is to hide/close the holes for the body mounting screws and find another way to hold the bodyshell in place.

Great work, guys!!! I have a question: How do you make the tires and wheels get more inside the body, looking more scale? Thanks!
@GCMRacing19 жыл бұрын
+reynaldobabalu careful choice of narrow axles, and narrow offset rims, and thin tires.

That is an absolutely amazing Hilux but '81 was the last year with round headlights.

This rig looks fantastic ! Now, how is it goin with Rc4wd? I've read so much bad experiences about them.
@GCMRacing14 жыл бұрын
There's a bad rap for them from the OLD stuff. Most of their stuff from the last few years has been some good trucks. Always ready to embrace a good RC4wd tire or body!

@@GCMRacing1 Thank you for the reply. I really do like their scale trucks (especially the TF2), but I am very hesitant as to take my first step with them... Is that to say there is no more issue with delivery terms, parts availability and overall fitting of their kits? Have a good one buddy and thanks so much for the input !
@GCMRacing14 жыл бұрын
When the Marlin came out, I jumped all over that and really enjoyed the truck. Many love those. They are well done, in comparison to the normal TF2 there's some updates here and there. I would say do that marlin, and then do some of the shock mods (improve shocks) and the BowHouse RC center skid plate (plastic) or the A+M steel center skid, and then run it for a while. The motor/ESC isn't totally amazing, but works for the time being, and in any case, the Marlin is a great place to start with RC4wd!

@@GCMRacing1 I take your word ! My second choice was the trx4, but I really dig that "scale" aspect with leaf springs, etc on the Marlin/Tf2's... (was also considering the gmade jeep). I definitely prefer "scale" over overall crawling perf. I will do that! Thanks soo much mate, you helped me make my final decision ! Have a great one over there ! Greetings and hugs from Belgium!
