Little info you guys may not know... The Toyota Pickup/Hilux had round headlights from '79-'81 and square from '82-'83. Also the 4wd models have 6 lug wheels and I noticed he's got 5 lug wheels on there....might be some extra scale features to change in future.👍 I love watching the reviews on your guys channel, keep up the good work.

Definitely my all time favorite the old school toyotas. Been planning on building one for years and am going to start with the tf2. Not sure if I want the new long cab version or the original. One thing I do know is the color of mine will be the classic Toyota pickup tan color. So beautiful.

I believe rc4wd sells some super soft leaf springs just for the tf2 and there a must for some articulation. That's what you need. This is my favorite truck in real life. Your truck is really great work.

I have a tf2 and its the 83 toyota just like the tamiya,the square headlights may have to do with licensing issues? Great looking rig love that green. Need to get a rollbar in the back of mine cause she tends to flip easily on super steep inclines!!

The round lights and square lights are a year apart in the real units. That's the change. Great trucks! I do like the round lights Sang used here, although I have the square ones on my own build. Thanks for the comments!

I wanted to tell cris I love his wheels and didn't discover this channel till I already had purchased my wheels which I got a steel deal on a eBay auction. 59 bucks for a set of 1.55 wildcards from rc4wd brand new still in the package and I love them so much but am stuck using my stock plastic center caps. How do I get a set of those super detailed center caps that you sell and how much will they run me.
@GCMRacing110 жыл бұрын
Check out gcmracing.ca for the center caps. In the scale section under wheels. Cheers!

I woud lowering the front on the Hilux (maybe put some bump stops in) and put the winch bumper 10mm higher.The second gear is nice for make miles at idle and run longer the same battery.

That truck is my real life dream truck. But I still have to say this is extremely great work but I don't see anything topping that Chevy in the last review. It was wrong not saving it for last cause it kinda ruined it for the other great super awesome builds. The builder of that Chevy I forget your name right now. Your builds are meticulous. Would love to get some tips from you I'm super OCD and so want to create a build that sweet.

Hey buddy, if you're new the best bet is to go on to forums such as RC Sparks, RC tech, or URC to name a few and just start reading. There are so many kinds of surface RC to look at and choose from it really depends on the area you're in the terrain you have and what you enjoy doing with an RC. Also, it's good to go to your local hobby shop or rc race track and see what is popular in your area. You don't think about it but it's much more fun to make new friends and get involved with other people in the hobby. I'm sure these guys can answer your questions but you're better off doing some research and coming to your own conclusions about how you wanna enjoy this great hobby.

Here's a tip to anyone who want's to lift there TF2's body. Don't it's ugly and pointless! Here's what you do: Buy M3 Width 50 mm Length Screws or longer an lift blocks and longer shocks, shock length will depend on how many lift block you use. (Example: Stock front shock length is 80 mm stock rear shock length is 100 mm if you add a 6 mm and 4 mm lift block you need a 90 mm shock to compensate the front and 110 mm shock in the rear to compensate.) (Example: Screw length will depend on the height of lift blocks used, use a ruler or measuring-tape to find the right height) Now remove the old screws holding your leaf springs to your axle housing place the lift blocks in between the leaf spring and axle housing and add the new M3 screws! Congratz you lifted your TF2 and she's still pretty!!! Purchase Order: Buy your lift blocks first (when you get them place them on the TF2 and find out the length you need your M3 screws to be) Buy your M3 screws seconded and place them on the TF2 ( now like i said before -(Stock front shock length is 80 mm stock rear shock length is 100 mm if you add a 6 mm and 4 mm lift block you need a 90 mm shock to compensate the front and 110 mm in the rear.) Note: Don't purchase all at once unless you feel safe with your measurements. Your Welcome to all!!!
