@obikedog

Nice setup. Very thoughtful and most importantly - it got the job done! Not a fan of Trigon's goofy marketers taking "AR" and turning it into "all-round". AR is almost if not actual industry standard for "all-road". ie. That is certainly no MTB!

Congrats on the effort! Ollie will be amazed to learn there's actually some aerodynamic handlebar bags that can even reduce your drag, just as with the saddle bags. At least that's what Cyclite claims for their handlebar bag. Restrap race aero bar bag also comes to mind, but I don't remember them putting up any numbers. Probably worth further investigation or even some testing in the wind tunnel. I imagine it works similar to some of the drinking systems seen in triathlon bikes, like the bow of a ship parting the air for smoother airflow before it encounters the mess that is the rider.

I know you said you don't like frame bags because of your knees and tested that rear saddle bag is faster, (than no saddle bag) but in my case, I don't have the knee problem (because of the position of my cleats which place my legs out wider, which eliminated hotfoot) and so I run frame bags and have always wondered how much more aero, if at all it is to run a frame bag than not running a frame bag? For my long rides I run a tri bottle setup out the back of the saddle which apparently gives the same aero advantage to running a saddle bag out there.
