The new Trek Madone that's heavier than a Mondraker Podium MTB with 100mm of travel, fat tyres and a cassette the size of a dinner plate as it weights 7.8kg But remember all this is what progression apperantly looks like 😂😂😂😂

Right hand: back shifting and braking, left hand: front shifting and breaking. Easy! I know, in the UK everthing is otherway round. You have to turn the handlebar to the left if you wanna go right etc. 🙃

I used to ride Trek exclusively. You could buy a full carbon Ultegra madone for $2500. That same setup is $8000 now. Technology has not advanced nearly that much nor has manufacturing costs. They are just ripping people off. Sadly it isn't just them.
@ferventheat
@ferventheat 2 жыл бұрын
@@glharlor it's not manufacturing costs, although every new fangled design will add to it, its the development costs, wind tunnel testing costs, rider testings etc. They are passing the cost onto the consumer. But 8 grand for it, hope the marketing department has done their homework and enough people buy it to make a profit.

I like the top-bar's flatness - the balls crusher. Instead of only crushing one ball on a round top tube, now the flatter profile allows both to be crushed under a rider's pedal-slip. Very smart of Trek. It looks far more stff, too, so total crushing is now possible.

@@arthurreyes2632 you do understand that the bike for pros are different than those on the market right? Specialized tarmac sl7 handlebar recall incident is a typical example, pro’s aero fly II all have aluminum reinforcements inside, you can see them clearly in one of their team documentaries.
