Firstly, once you have all of these components in a beaker, mixed with distilled water, you shall have to mix them all up, when done, to remove the copper oxide we use the process of filtration because we have an insoluble solid and a liquid, subsequently when we filtrate this we shall have copper sulfate (Aq) as a filtrate inside a beaker, and copper oxide remaining in the filter paper as residue because the particles would be too big to fit through the filter paper, thus, remaining. Now then, after this, we have a soluble solid and water in our newly reformed solution, thus the way to separate these is to use the process of crystallization, add this particular solution to an evaporating basin put it on top of a tripod and a triangle clay, on top of a Bunsen burner, then heat the solution half way with the heat from the BB making half of the water evaporate then let the solution cool of half way, thus creating blue crystals of copper sulfate, of course leaving them over a long - haul would create bigger crystals rather than leaving them over a shorter time period. If not fully dry, pat them dry with some filter paper.
