@@account8494 - watch cognito video on topic - do questions on the topic from pmt or cognito website - mark questions, make flashcards on questions you got wrong - do this for all topics - revisit every topic every few weeks - make flashcards on what you got wrong - once all topics done for a paper, do past papers and see what topics you need to focus on - USE YOUR FLASHCARDS CONSISTENTLY (i made the mistake of making many flashcards and rarely using them) - DONT MAKE PAPER FLASHCARDS (absolute waste of time) - you can use premade flashcards, but i recommend making your own to suit your needs (if you have time till ur gcses) - anki is good, but i hate the layout and its just annoying for me so i use brainscape instead, really good - WHENEVER YOU HAVE FREE TIME eg. when i used to get ready for school and do my makeup i used to put cognito videos on shuffle and just listen to them, helps w retention (this works especially well w english, mr salles videos)

If you’d like to practise what's covered in this video, check out the lesson on the Cognito platform - cognitoedu.org/coursesubtopic/c2-gcse-aqa-h-t_3.09. The platform’s totally free, and has been built to make learning and revision as easy as possible. The main features are: - Lessons organised by topic, only the lessons relevant to your specific exam board and tier are shown. - Automatic progress tracking. Progress bars tell you what you’re doing well at, and what you need to spend some time on. - Practise quizzes so you can test your knowledge. You can quiz yourself on any combination of topics you like. - A huge number of fully-hinted questions that take you step-by-step through some of the trickiest calculations & concepts. - A comprehensive bank of past exam papers, organised both by year, and also by topic. at 1:50 would you take into account the big numbers that are apparent before the formula in some different equations? example - 2Fe + 3CO2 ??? would you just do normal co2 relative formula mass or times it by 3?

I'm a few years late but you would include the big numbers as it is the total formula mass

hello.. why some reference dividing it with the sum of all products? What is the difference?
@willmolloy1917
@willmolloy1917 3 жыл бұрын
No difference in a balanced equation as both sides total relative atomic mass should be the same

not my scinece teacher teaching us the complete wrong thing and it saying products instead of recatants in the equation. idk if there are two ways to do it but i think the way shes taught it will just calculate how much of the products are useful instead of how much recatant creates a useful product. thank god i watched this because that test in two days would not have gone well
@jezpday
@jezpday 3 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter, no matter is created nor destroyed in the reaction, so the total mass of the products is the same as the total mass of all the reactants. Your science teacher knows what they are doing!

The equation for the production of ammonia is incorrectly balanced
@SirGallyo

3:08 isnt the reaction reversible so some of the ammonia would turn back into reactant?

Yes and it is the Haber Process, but I think that the atom economy is still 100%
