To anyone going into y11, don't stress too much over GCSEs, remember to enjoy your life, still revise, but it's not as important as your school will tell you. I only revised a week before and still passed all my exams and even got a 9 in maths.

you can't do certain subjects without specific grades at GCSE'S so they are kinda important but won't matter if you've got the grades you need and go on to do a levels and smash them

@@distributingalts2707 to me, gcses are just what I need to go onto A levels, nothing more, nothing less. So for example, I'm doing maths, further maths, physics and computer science at A-level so I need a good gcse in these subjects and everything else I get is just a bonus.

I’m in year 8 so I’m 13 years old and all the teachers keep talking to us about GCSEs and they keep saying that our entire school life is building up to our GCSEs and if we don’t pass them we won’t get a good job and we will regret it and stuff and I’m only in year 8 and I’m terrified of doing them 😂

Here's a message to all sitting their GCSE, you can never be more nervous then I was. And to be honest. Stressing out and worrying won't really help. It's all just nerves and worry, it'll only put your confidence down. When sitting the exam be positive. Be ready and it's never bad to revise ahead and pre prepare. I'd say that for now, focus only on you and no one else, it's not a bad thing coz the future is your own. No one else's. And please don't stress out, coz at the end of the day, you will only bring your expectations lower and that isn't good for you, trust me, I done it all the time. Just relax and you got this, don't worry

I just want to say congrats to the both of you. I know how scary and nervous it was taking those GCSE exams and I've heard they've gotten more difficult too. I wish I could say life gets easier after GCSE's but it really doesn't especially if you're taking A-Levels. All I can say is there is a light at the end of the tunnel and uni (if you decide to take that path) is A LOT MORE calm than both GCSE and A-levels.Dont forget to enjoy life in between so take as many breaks as you can- go out and enjoy yourselves. ❤️
