Fr tho, like I see every comment saying "I got inspired and my next presentation is going to be about a funny subject, thank you" but dude I am 15 and if I'd be up there I'm pissing my pants, I mean, I only did 2 presentations in my whole life, the first time I was nervous af, even my hands started to sweat, which until that point istg it never happened to me, I kept forgetting how to say words and literally shitting my pants, my second one went a noticeably better, only messed up some parts but after I went to my seat I noticed I was a bit sweaty and until that point I didn't realize how nervous I actually was. Now try to put me up there 💀...

@@johntonssen7231 that last section was so cringey. Anyway. Obviously if this was an actual presentation in front of thousands at a professional setting, the delivery wasn’t that good. However considering this is a GCSE one done by a child, it is quite good. The pacing was good, fast where it needed to be, pauses where they should be, etc, apart from the occasional parts where she rushed a bit too fast. Also, considering the topic she chose, she remained decent composure, yes there were some parts where she started giggling but in a class with a bunch of immature kids, I’d expect more giggling considering the topic. I’ve been in her position (not the same topic but doing English gcse) and half the kids just blankly read an unrehearsed script.

You can! I went from a quite shy guy in 2019 to now not fearing rejection by women. I now that sounds like a painfully long time, however all that had to happen was seeing someone goodlooking enough so that the fear of "having them pass by forever gone" trumps fear of rejection. Took me some time to figure that out, but hope (at least in the context of dating) that what I've previously stated is sound advice.

That is a very false conclusion. If you’re not addressing a group of idiots (which in itself would be pointless), but actually intelligent people they’ll very easily be able to see past whatever facade you’re putting up and judge your points and ideas clearly. In fact even if your presentation is lacking, as long as your points are good you can keep the audience listening. Of course it’s much more preferable that you’re confident in your words

She just has infinite self confidence. Self confidence will basically make or break you as a person. If you have it then the world is your oyster. You'll be outgoing, have great people skills, will be willing to take risks, won't care about groups or certain friends, you'll probably be an extrovert which has infinite benefits too. If you don't have self confidence life becomes a whole lot harder. You'll likely have poor social skills which will be the result of social anxiety, if you have social anxiety very few people will want to be around you as it'll be them feel awkward, so you'll find it very hard to make friends, you won't have the confidence to pursue challenging things, you won't take risks, you'll very likely develop depression as a result of nobody wanting to be around you, you'll likely be bullied, you won't have the confidence to ask for anything you want like pay rises. A life without self confidence is hell, believe me. Unfortunately extroverts will thrive in society and introverts won't or will struggle to. The single most important thing in life is communication. If you have good communication every door in the world will open up, if you don't it's a dark, dark place and almost every door will close trapping you.

The age of consent is 16, so she should be able to talk rationally about "fertility" by then and even joke about it, and she's been educated so well about human sexuality and relationships that she's already more confident discussing both of them than many people are for their whole lives.

society has gone full circle. We used to marry off girls as young as possible so they could have as many babies as possible. We went through a whole child protection phase, and now we've gotten loose about sexuality to the point where we're back to sexualizing children. We used to sexualize children for marriage, and now casualness, so we went full circle, just in the reverse direction

I know most people cringe when looking back on the stuff they did in high school, but this is something you should cherish. Nobody could get me to say nice things about myself if they threatened to pull each and every one of my teeth out with a pair of rusty pliers; yet you managed to do so in a way that not only made me nearly collapse a lung with laughter, you did it without making yourself seem like a toxic ass. Fortunes flow back and forth with the tide of the world, but a positive self-image is something which insulates against the worst of these. I hope that wherever you find yourself, you can look back on this with more pride than embarrassment; I know I would if I had anything of this caliber to my name. Good luck with wherever you find yourself, thank you for uploading this absolute gem, and may you face whatever life throws at you the same attitude you radiate here.

I saw this video a few weeks ago, just in time for my GCSE presentation. I was originally going to do my speech on my sport and the benefits surrounding it but after seeing this I decided that would be far too boring. I looked beside me and alas, I see my dog so I made my speech about her and why she'd be a far better PM than Boris, Lis and Rishi combined. I'm yet to hear my mark but my class seemed to love it so thank you Maria for sparking that inspiration to think outside the box and for giving me the confidence to use humour and to just be myself during my speech, you're a true lifesaver 🤧

Our speeches in my school were regulated, so we weren't allowed to do anything interesting. The options were literally; We shouldn't eat meat, we shouldn't have zoos and climate change is bad. There was an option that gave us a bit of freedom, and unsurprisingly most people picked that one. It was "I am concerned about..." and you'd talk about a concern of yours. My friend did "I am concerned that the British government controls our every action" and another friend did "I am concerned that the British government only gives us free education to filter out intelligent people so that they can have as many low paid workers as possible." I did "I am concern about the abuse of the NHS and the abuse of nursing staff." A little less existential then my friends haha.
@rinnniiiii
@rinnniiiii Жыл бұрын
@@NyxFox Our school is usually like that but this time they literally said "talk about anything" so I think everyone was a bit stumped by it 😂 We had some pretty interesting ones though like the history of chess, why Manchester City is better than your favourite club, why house plants are good for our mental health, parts of a boat and paddle boarding. It was a bit daunting having so much freedom but it was surprisingly quite fun!

@@UnkownUnkown01 My trick is to print out the entirety of my speech word for word in small font, cut it out and stick it onto flashcards. I read over it as much as possible to make sure I use my notes as little as possible. I feel so powerful knowing I have the whole thing in front of me but everyone else thinks I've only got a few key words and phrases down 😌 I also like to look at different points on the wall behind the class so I don't have to make eye contact with people but I still get marks for making eye contact, my teacher taught us that one and it works a treat. Combine the two and it much more comfortable talking to other cuz you nearly eliminate fear of messing up and making eye contact with someone. I wish you luck for future speeches, I hope that maybe helps 😌✨

Good evening miss, This is an official business-related comment from the GigaChad Community Enforcement Group (GCEG). We are writing to inform you that the GCEG has reviewed your case and would like to commemorate your outstanding work on this formal presentation. As you say, you are unlike most girls. In fact, most people do not understand the fact that dating is a very transactional endeavor, and that simply providing the facts in a (clearly) unbiased manner goes a long way in terms of one's affection. With this in mind, and following your presentation's heated impact, the GCEG would like to award you with an official award of romantic achievement. You are an outstanding role model for what the GCEG represents and we wish you the best of luck in your romantic endeavors. Kind regards, GigaChad Community Enforcement Group

Dear Maria, After further inspecting your incredibly rich and well prepared presentation on why any person (especially the ladies) would find you attractive, I, as a representative of the male community, approve that you are in fact an attractive and charismatic human being, making you a perfect mate evolutionary speaking. Your knowledge, skills, and silk-smooth skin surely have impacted a lot during the presentation, making any person watching this feel as if you were, indeed, the perfect mate any person would wish to have. I appreciate especially the honesty of your cons, that surely made you, as an individual, a humble and self-conscious girl. Thank you for your presentation, that surely made some people do things they couldn’t think they were able to do before. Have a nice day. - Male representative
