An online friend 10yrs my senior had turned me onto all this sort of amazing music back in the late 90s...back when the Net was a baby, NOBODY used their real names...I ended up flying over to the UK to meet her/her family, others from France, Canada and other areas of the USA all were there. I have the best "family" from those days, decades later. She passed away not too long ago, I'm pushing 60yo...best times, best tunes, best life.

For those of us fortunate enough to have been 20-28 during the era where this style of music would rock warehouses, beaches, football stadiums, during the wee hours of the morning, when "dance festivals" were raves, congratulations, you lived thought the greatest era of electronic music. This is what Trance is, was, and ever will be. This era of the global phenomenon known as Trance music will never ever reach the heights that it did during this era. All you wanted to do was dance, dance, and dance some more. Many people like myself who previously had two left feet, became sensational dancers, we became one with the music, one with the DJ. It was spiritual.

lee mac to a point, I love the music, not quite as old but been around the free party and warehouse scene, big clubs, DnB, done my stint on the Island. I’m 35 don’t even know where to start now. Have a couple of old friends that can hook me up for a “nostalgia” night but anything more than three Eccies and a couple of pints doesn’t stand up to my current sensibilities. You could argue that the drugs don’t define the musics but that’s bullshit.

Means Zero Power. There must be a Revenge (Payback) to ALL, to whom it´s possible. Narcissism THAT´S "our" reason to make War permantly. This track will forever remind me of the times in the the late 90's when we used to put on parties on top of a secluded hill near Arundel, West Sussex UK - My mates would hire a van, lob a generator and the decks in the back and word of mouth brought together a collection of wonderful, free, music seeking folk to a clearing in the forest... We would dance , chat and laugh the night away with lights and Trance synths reaching and echoing through the leaves and branches. The Sunday morning sun would come up and we'd pack away as if we were never there... revitalised for the week ahead and ready to do it all again when the next weekend landed :) Great times, great memories, great friends and of course GREAT MUSIC!

Almost 45 and saw this on a music channel and instantly took me back to 99, went to Ibiza from 97 to 2008 and raves before that in 90s. This was the peak trance time, trance from about 97-2004. What a tune, makes me feel like a teenager again. The song never ages and sounds as fresh then as now! Lost a great friend last year and he would have seconded this opinion. RIP John!❤❤❤

This was when Trance was at it's peak. Although my electronic music taste has evolved over the years, I still love the sound of trance and I remember having some of the best nights of my life as a teenager heading into my 20s. Nowadays these kids listen to junk noise and music that has no flow. I don't mind a bit of dubstep so long as I can dance to it, but some of the shit that's coming out is just that per se. People are now making songs out of fart samples FFS!

We were lucky enough to be a part of the birth of a movement , those ravers who are no longer old skool ravers unfortunately got caught up in the rat race of life work and family, some of us continued to live the dream and the dream is an everlasting one of joy happiness nostalgia and doing it all again at festivals if not night clubs but there was , is, never has been in my 51 yrs a time like it Shine on like everything around you ✨️ ❤🏴

What a special time to embrace this music in an amazing atmosphere in an amazing night club with friends old and new... and everybody was on the same page... the music. Early in trance EDM evolution everything today is built off yesterday's music and when you listen to these originals they have elements not found in today's music... a magical characteristic, appeal, and charm. Those days were special, they were often legend, and they're unfortunately gone simply to be appreciated and remembered in the music... such magic.

Take me back, I don't fit into the current 3d reality. Give me laughter, real friends, freedom and happy uplifting music. I love this track, probably my favourite trance tune of all time. But there are many others and many amazing memories to go with them. And in my raving days, it was In Complete darkness by the Fat Controller, Origin in Brighton, Tazmania on Hastings pier, Sterns in worthing and many a trip up to Londons top rave clubs. Ravelation at Wembley NYE, Fantasia at Lydd, jeez the list goes on and on. And then trance came along just as the raves got too cheesy. so I moved on again, chasing the high and the happiness and the sound people I'd meet.
