You can set DST on or off for the T-2, T-3 and T-4 time zones without going into world time mode. Press and hold Adjust, press Mode, press Forward to toggle, press Adjust to exit. This also works on the GD-100, AE-2000 and AE-1200.

I have a different model watch but your instructions still helped me set up my watch .My manual is unreadable due to the print size and other watch tutorials online have been pretty unhelpful. So thanks a bunch.

Most G-shocks share a lot of similarities which one would imagine. The red trim around the chapter ring is a nice touch. Smooth transition at the end pointing to the subscribe button. 👍😁

Nice turorial, I'm surprised of all the minor variations there are between all these basic G-shocks (e.g. flash alert and 4 time zones like on my Casio "Royale" but without world map). Btw, I didn't think you liked negative displays?

*_This model has the same functions of the G-8900!!! Flash alerts, 3 different times in Home Time Mode, and everything else. Just a different design. The module in the G-8900 is 3285. Casio knows how to keep us covetous!!!!_*

The watch can't store ALL THE CITIES in the world, but it covers ALL the timezones, you just have to find a large city that is in the watch that corresponds to your time zone
