Today a tutorial for one of the smallest analog digital Casio GShock models, the AW590 and module 4778. This tutorial also covers all the other variants including AW-591 models

If you need to cycle 11 hours with analog time, you don't need to keep forward pressed the whole time, you keep forward pressed then when it gains speed you press reverse and you can let go buttons and it will cycle on its on. Then you just stop it when needed by pressing any button.

Bro how do I prevent LED light to auto activate after every like 15 seconds?

setting analog time is easier.... in H-Set mode, press the C button (keep pressed) and push B button, - no need to keep finger on C button to set analog time.... after this combination, the needles will go forward, so You only need to press B or C button to stop, then finetune by pressing C... (so the H-Set is not that bad to setup) ;) regards

That's the wrong way to do it!! You messed up the watch and it doesn't know what time actually is, thus ruining your world time, not to mention the alarm

@@WatchGeek Wait.. i dont get it. so using the B button to lock the minute hand will mess up the watch? i thought his function is there for us not to keep our finger on C button when setting the time. Also how will the world time get ruined when it picks up the digital home time and not the analog?

That's what I was going to tell him except I was going to word it: 'while pressing the 'Forward' button to adjust the hands also press the 'Reverse' button at the same time, then release both buttons which will allow the hands to move fast forward on their own until you press the 'Forward' button again just before the true time is reached, then press the 'forward' button again a number of times until the exact time is reached.'. He should add this as an over text to that part of the video.

I love this watch but stupidly bought the one with the dark digital display with white digits (reverse of the one in this video). Cannot see it to save my life. Kind of ruined it for me but luckily, the only info I look for on my watch is the time and the hands are completely sufficient for that.

I love my Casio G-Shock Men's Watch AW-591MS-1AER , but the separate digital and analog modes are a pain in the prostrate...

Had this watch for an hour and only just managed to set the time on the analogue hands, I had pretty much given up on the digital side until this video. These guys really need to work on their manual, and some better way to tell you the mode you are in. All the pictures on Amazon (where I bought it) made it look like the screen was easy to see, but it isn't.

My watch says that it will automate the calendar till 2039, but what will happen after that?

Calendars repeat, Google it. You just find the year that is the same as 2040 and you'll be good for another 12 or so years, then again, you find a year that repeats, and again..
