Losing your character sucks, i had the same issue and switched to offline, haven't had any issues since. Great videos, keep it up!

My issue is fixed, and I have no idea what the problem actually was. Glad it's fixed though. The mod is good fun, so it's good that you can play it as well.

The lost of your characters and more importantly your biggest resource -> Time, is more of a kick in the teeth than a whimper. Sorry man. Thx for all the work.

That's rough. I had some issues starting the league, but at least once I got in I only had to deal with one disconnect that didn't do much (besides making me run through two zones again). I wish you more luck on day 2.

I feel you and I appreciate your content, so please continue with your season 7 league videos :). I'm currently in the process of downloading the league files (first time doing a league). Used the picker wheel and landed on a warlord character. I'm not sure but I think I recall that the warlord is not overly loved at the moment, nevertheless I will check a build for this mastery out.

i have sismilar problem before , game is not saving because of acces to restricted folder, you need to give grim dawn leauge acces to folder , it sometimes shows in microsoft defender as denied .

I didn't have to do that, so it probably wasn't that for me, but I did turn my VPN/malware blocker off. I don't know exactly what fixed it, I just know it's working now.

I think the crate should make seasons official in Grim Dawn. It will require money, of course. But if it lasted 6 months, I would at least be satisfied with that time. I only play the normal game in the game's campaign, which is already very satisfying. Crucible is a bit suffocating, let's say.

I'm glad it isn't. If I wanted never ending seasons, I'd go play literally any other ARPG on the market. Single player idle is one of the things I love about grim dawn

No. The chase for player retention in the form of seasons only works properly for successful live service titles with big enough development teams to make meaningful updates to the game each season. With how long they've been making the Fangs of Asterkarn expansion, Official Grim Dawn seasons would probably be similarly pointless as Diablo 3 seasons were as the seasonal changes would have to be quite small to get them out in time thoroughly tested and polished. Grim dawn isn't ran and designed like that. Also, I like building my HC stash little by little in my own pace. instead of trying to "get a fast starter build to farm x amount of stuff to be happy with my week 1 progression". Seasons bring with them deadlines in the form of the season ending, and deadlines make efficiency and 'the meta' important. I get my fill of that in Path of Exile.

I had some trouble setting up the game because Cloud Saves refused to turn off. After resetting countless times, I decided to simply look for the config file in the game's settings folder and edit the value manually and it finally worked. Now, I have had the game crash on me at least three times, but my character is still there, thankfully.

Really pleased you are doing this. What is the issue with it retaining your characters? Didn't experience that myself. I am curious if you found out.

The only other mod I'm using is Rainbow Filter, which is what is changing the item colours.
