Thank you very much for the clear video. Out Boundary = Diameter 21(MMC)+0.5(Position TOL)+0.5(Straightness TOL) In this case, Straightness TOL seems to be included in Position TOL, but I wonder why Straightness TOL is separated and added separately to Out Boundary.

Hi, think in this way, that position TOL and straightness TOL both are geometric TOL, and both are not depended on each other. So, you don't need to include one with other. both are separated, So. you should always add them separately.

I am a Chinese guy who was trying to learn GD&T from time to time and from many other channels but can not find a good learning material. It's your videos that gave me a clear, easy to get learning experience. Thank your so much. For the questions you listed in the PDF, my answers are: Problem 1 - OB = Φ22.08 mm, IB = Φ 21.88 mm. No VC and RC for this kind of geometric tolerance design. Problem 2 - Virtual Condition = Φ21.7 mm, Resultant Condition = Φ22.3 mm, not call OB/IB in this case. Am I right?

Problem 1- OB = MMC of pin 22 + (- 0.01) + Applicable Geometric tolerance (Position TOL 0.1) = 22.09 (Here circularity geometric tolerance does not consider, because this is a surface control) ID - LMC of pin (22-0.02) - POS TOL 0.1 = 21.88 mm Yes no VC and RC could be defined in this example. Problem 2 VC at MMC = MMC of hole (22-0.1) - POS TOL @ MMC 0.2 = 21.7 mm RC at MMC = LMC of hole (22+0.1) + POS TOL @ MMC 0.2 = 22.3 mm and yes in this case we doesnt define OB/IB
