But Donna'd still sing you love songs, written in the letters of your name. Just shy of 44 minutes 43:45 , the 44 calibah Killah. Phil driving the bus this entire time, oftentimes not seemingly so, a la Ken Kesey . 🥁🎹🧊💙💚❤💛🚎🚍

The Grateful Dead are like a warm hug from Grandma. Grandma is gone but these shows live on as timeless music. The night before the legendary Fox Theater show in Atlanta, this show is underrated in a month of superb shows. The fills, the passion, the cohesion are all unforgettable. A must listen. A masterpiece. May ‘77 has their best of the best, in my opinion.

2 friends and I headed up to T Town from Mobile for this show. Completely blown away, we held a short post show pow wow and decided to do the only logical thing…..head for Atlanta with $19 in our pockets between us! I’ve got a cabin in Eastaboga (on the way) and we crashed there for most of the next day and limped into Atlanta at about 6 Friday night. Found tickets almost immediately and settled in. Slept in the dang bushes in Piedmont Park Friday (don’t tell anyone!) and set out Sat morning for tickets, which we got at a local record shop. Burned it down Sat, back to my cabin and on to Mobile Sunday. Piece of cake! 🤣😎

Listen to any show from May 1977 and then branch out from there. So many wonderful shows, each is different. And read the comments. Lots of long time dead head stories in the weeds.

Or go the Rob't Hunter source and hear Promontory Rider, or Pigpen's Mr. Charlie. Then remember, we're all Eyes of the World & need a whole New Speedway Boogie

Do the Dead have albums? Did they record anything? Not aware hahahaha. My favorite era is 73 till 77 , then 71-72 and 78 til about 91 , the rest i think is ok depending on the show
