Is it possible perhaps to add a custom command like increase/decrease flow rate? I would like to add a short cut for these commands (similarly to increase/decrease opacity, however there is no entry for increase/decrease flow rate in the short cut configuration panel). Thank you!

It can be added in Krita, but you have to ask the developers directly.

In the canvas input settings, or in the custom shortcuts window? You have to set this up in the canvas input settings if you're talking about the pop up palette. Otherwise, you can't add shortcuts with the mouse in the custom shortcuts section.

I get this message when I attempted to use a shortcut I assigned to the grow selection function: The key sequence 'Alt+G' is ambiguous. Use 'Configure Shortcuts' from the 'Settings' menu to solve the ambiguity. No action will be triggered. When I double check the shortcuts, it is saved there. I tried searching for info on this in the kde forums but haven't found anything yet. Maybe this is a bug that 3.0.1 fixes? I may just download the beta and see.

This message pops up when the same shortcut is assigned to 2 different functions. There's no function that has Alt+G by default in my version of Krita, so did you set this as a shortcut manually? You can search for Keystrokes in the shortcuts editor, look out for Alt+G.

I searched the shortcut list first before saving alt + g to grow selection. there was nothing assigned to it by default so i decided to use it. it saved successfully without the overwrite message. the message I quoted pops up only when I try to use the shortcut while painting. :/

Go to settings -> manage resources, open resources folder and in the folder, delete any .blacklist file. Let's see if this helps.

help i was testing krita and i used an elippse thing and it wont go out when i select a new tool

Ellipse selection tool? If you have a selection, go to Select->Deselect, or press Ctrl Alt A by default (that should be it)

Sure, there's a color palette docker (in the menu bar go to settings->dockers)
