Great hike. And nothing like a roadwalk to finish off. I loved the flowers, getting in between them.

I've been on a Neil young listening and John Z KZbin binge lately so I was stoked to hear that you listening to Neil at the end there. Thanks for the inspirational videos John. It keeps me sane when I'm not hiking in the mountains myself.

I've been watching your videos for a while now, and must say they are by far better than anyone else's. Few things that stand out compared to others... ---to many other people focus constantly on milage. ---whether its been a good or bad day, I love that you don't complain like so many others ---background tunes fit perfectly Keep up the good work ZohnZ.

Hey JZ, absolutely love your videos, the cinematography and score are leagues better than anything being produced on KZbin right now. Only thing I'd recommend (if it isn't too heavy or bulky to carry) would be a gimbal to smooth out the handheld walking shots. Love your stuff, love you too man, keep on being awesome.

Nice video and thanks fir visiting our western mountains. If you bored, my video series (under my name) on the 35 day, 650 day IAT Quebec hike (for you maybe 21 days) is now on day 11 and I am approaching the Chic Chic Mountains. These are the same mountain chain as Katahdin. Just an idea for you when you need a new trail to follow.

Having hiked in bc before I know that usually the trails aren't marked as well as what I see in the states but you rarely seem to be on a defined trail here. Are ypu just going off trail a lot or is this trail really not well defined at all?

do you think you could do this trail in September when the bugs would be way less-- or would it be too rainy -? Great series thanks again !!
@zm52157 жыл бұрын
Obviously I'm not John, but being from the area, if you are talking about maybe finishing by like mid-September that would probably work, but any later and there is a good chance you're dealing with snow and freezing temps.
@madisonwallace15617 жыл бұрын
How many parts of the trail are overgrown/missing. And how hard was it to keep track of where you were?

GDT FKT?
@uloutdoors7 жыл бұрын
An fkt on a "route" or a trail where there is not really one defined trail does not make sense. This is the reason why there is also no fkt on the CDT and other places.
@austinshields86277 жыл бұрын
If it has a start and a finish you can do a FKT
