GE Universal Remote To Roku-How To Program It-Full Tutorial

In this video, I show you and tell you how to connect and program a GE universal remote with a Roku streaming box or a Roku television set. It is a super simplistic tutorial and I go over the basics. It is simply a matter of knowing whether you have a Roku streaming box or a full Roku television set, and then once you know that, you can find the codes for the specific device and use them to program your universal remote to work with it and then you will be able to control it using the specific universal remote that you have in front of you.

You my sir is the man! Got it to work on my 1st try! Rented a Hotel, they had their cable canceled and I forgot to bring the Roku remote with my Roku stick. Got a GE remote at DG and tried the first Code I found which is 2014. It worked! Watching COPS on Pluto this very moment!

The Roku code turns the tv on and off and not the box, the tv is not a Roku tv

usually the code for an insignia TV is the right one for a RokuTV. try to program your remote for an insignia brand TV if that doesn't work search for the specific brand of yours
