Hello! Just let you know I replaced the water switch on my identical washing machine that wouldn’t fill water and it did fix the problem. For some reason it wouldn’t work right away. Tried different things. Maybe running the quick rinse spin cycle seem to have cleared or reset it. I’m sure the switch had to be the problem because I didn’t get the clicking noise when blowing onto the unit/tube. Thanks for your video on this! I see you have some other interesting videos I may check out. Appreciate!

Why does my water level only come up half way even on super or extra large setting? the water does not cover the clothes. The pressure switch clicks when tested and the air line is clear. I have a G.E. GTWN4250DOWS

if your air line is clear all the way to the wash tub you may wish to look closer at the pressure switch. Unplug the washer then disconnect the pressure switch electrical connection then plug the washer in and closely monitor the filling of the washer since it will over flow. Have a continuity tester on the pressure switch and see when it closes when filling. If the pressure switch closes before filled on large load setting it is likely the pressure switch. I have model number wdsr1080deww and water pressure switch part number wh12x10378 has been discontinued. Any crossover part that will work or any other suggestions?

You may wish to look at your water inlet valve if no water is coming in. it is the part your hose connects to on the back of the machine. I wish you the best on your repair

@@bbbjim1fixedit thanks response. I’ve checked pipe/valve for water coming in but I will check hose/washer attachment to make sure clear. I may just replace the switch next it’s not too expensive to take a chance. I am seeing a short on the unit where the red/black plugs into the switch so not sure if that’s correct or not. But thanks again will let you know how it goes.

Mine doesn’t fill up all the way. Same washer. The dial to reset water lever doesn’t reset.
