I don't doubt their sincerity, but i doubt they really really know how it feels like to have $20.80 left in the bank and ah gal needs to buy textbooks tomorrow.

True but I think you would struggle to find anyone in a situation like that who is getting into politics

Yeah ok.. but you can post this towards the opposite party too and it will still make sense too so why only tackle PAP?

MPs paid Insane Astronomical sums as a part time job ? Hardly any debate in Parliament n many hasn't even gone near the mic, so bored till so many caught napping. MPs should be paid by contributions in Parliament even better by number of words spoken in Parliament; some won't even get paid a cent for whole year. Implement this system similar to ERP or Pay Per View TV. That would proof their salt.

After all these years, you still fail to understand the issues of the middle class Singaporeans. We don't need money and time spent on improving infrastructure & ammenities. Aside from the elderly, most people are either at school or work 70% of the time.. Provide the young with better education, adults with job security, lower costs of living and improve the CPF return scheme. It's been repeated time and time again. That's what Singaporeans need.

1 second ago Since independence PAP has created history by putting Singapore into a 1st world country, one of the 4 economic Asian tigers (Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore)and consistently credited with 3AAA stars rating by International Credit Agencies.Trust and encourage PAP leadership to do even better This is the most safe way to do in this very unsafe world .Thank you. "According to the ADB's forecast, Taiwan is expected to perform better than neighboring countries and territories in 2020. For example, it estimated that Hong Kong's economy will contract by 6.5 percent, a deterioration from an earlier forecast of minus 3.3 percent, Singapore's economy could fall by 6 percent, a downgrade from 0.2 percent growth, and South Korea's is also expected to shrink by 1 percent, a cut from 1.3 percent growth. In a supplement to its Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2020 published in April, the ADB said Taiwan remains relatively resilient compared with its peers in Asia, although its GDP rose only 1.5 percent in the first quarter, the slowest growth since the first quarter of 2016, in the wake of COVID-19."
