I'm an Indian and trust me when i tell you about how much I love the pagans and respect their ancient traditions and cultures. I so wish the native people would revive it all and embrace it. Thanks for this track, it speaks to my soul. People like you, Einar are just hands down amazing. Bands like Skald, Wardruna, Danheim, Heilung and several others are doing a great job in keeping it all alive. Odin must be very happy and proud of you.
@fjeldfross93274 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is maybe not my place to tell, but sometimes it feels like a whisper, a call to wake is to hear. We european people lost so much of our roots , and worse, our ancestors tried to rip out the roots of other cultures as well...all in the name of greed, power and the perversion of a "superior"religion. I recently saw a video of an Heilung show in the US, they closed their concert/Ritual with a very tranceinducing song, and with them on stage were native tribe dancers, all dancing together, performing the ritual together, and I was sitting in front of my monitor and i was bawling. I cant describe how deep this touched me. this was indeed a ritual of healing, of connection and becoming one again and in general, all these bands you named, they are calling home. the old ones were never gone. They just waited.

This reminds me of a past I've never lived, a life only dreams can fulfill.. When i wake up, I'm filled with sadness and despair. We have lost our connection with mother earth, the stories once told are now distant memories of a life that will never be again. We are so busy caring about the way we look and how we dress, the pressure of todays standards and social media that are in the end, worthless. Your music calms my soul and mind, and reminds me of what is truly important in this life. Much love from Sweden, skål!
@bonnewheeler39084 жыл бұрын
I feel very differently about it for me, it is more personal,I don't feel sadness or despair for through my eyes I see the power of mother earth and for all her years of evolution she will persevere with my faith in my God,he has made a promise she will do just that just as the sun shines the moon comes up the seasons will come and go this is God's creation the earth he owns.The birds are still singing the trees continue to grow.We only have this time and our age in the here and now,live life find happiness think positive there will be enough time for sorrow,if you look for yourself at nature instead of through the eyes others you will find there is much left in nature to feel mother earths true power. Love Bonne.Follow her not bad leader.

I miss the valley oaks I grew up with in CA. Most of the specific trees I played under, once standing in wild fields, have died because they are not compatible with having their roots smothered by asphalt or watered lawns. The long segment following the oak's branches was very moving. May their spirits find their way back to us someday when we're worthy. 🌒🎄🌘

And to the place i go i am so grateful - there are no trees like this anywhere else, old maples, oaks and hickories that are 15 feet around at the trunk - for maples this must mean they are of an age. Thankyou for this beautiful song - and for your beautiful voice. A Gift to us all.
