The fighting will always be better in the anime if they done them right, the manga is panels, the anime is fluidity, if the animation is good it can surpass the manga. The anime has an advantage in fighting, but sometimes they messed up like franky vs sasaki was very bad. Robin, sanji, zoro and gear 5 are better than the manga (only the last fighting episode and some other random scenes during the previous episodes)

I think the problem is that the anime just keeps showing him complaining, then overcoming his doubts, only to go back to complaining in the next episode. It just get's annoying after seeing that repeat for about 20+ episodes, regardless of how logical it may be (which it is, just to be clear). So I have full understanding for people yelling at Momo, even if it's not his fault. Quick edit; I just checked, for us it's been 10 years since Momo got introduced, 2 years since the raid started and half a year since he's been trying to move that island. So for the viewers, having to deal with that weekly just starts getting on your nerves at some point.

I appreciate that the reaction are genuine and not sugar coating their feelings. Yes its a fair point that momo is annoying and always crying. But this is reality he is a child in a grown man body his body aged and mind stood the same. So a child regardless how much you boost him up needs constant reassurance and will sometimes crumble continuously in traumatic situations. I think most commenters who are saying remember he is 8 years old aren't fully communicating their frustrations at your reaction so here is my attempt. I'm sure many people can relate to your annoyance at Momo taking back steps in his development which I think is a very normal thing to do personally, but because of your choice to vocally focus on that this episode, it really hindered a beautifully emotional moment at the end with Luffy telling Momo I trust you. I don't know man, people talk a lot about Momo when all you were doing at 8 was peeing the bed, crying when you fell, and learning how to do basic schoolwork (which is what a child should be doing). Unless you yourself 4 months after losing your parents were forced to confront the person who killed them, band together and lead an army of people you've never met with the expectation and responsibilities forced on you to then lead a country with no training or even any warning, I feel like you shouldn't even be able to talk. And no Kin'nemon isn't spitting, it's disgusting that he'd try to guilt Momo into stepping up and taking control because of their mistakes and weakness. If he was half of man he thought he was he would have stayed with Toki, protected her until she finished her speech and forced her to go into the future with Momo even at the cost of his life to protect his lords lady, and not put the weight of an entire country on a kid with 0 training (and then Momo had to sacrifice 20 years of his life including ALL of his childhood because of it too).

Sanji and Robin are the only main characters that had it just as if not rougher than he did and they still got to live out their childhoods (Robin got time to grieve and Sanji had time to grow up with a real father figure). Kin'nemon and the rest failed in his duty to protect the country and his leader and decided it was the best option to force a kid with none of the proper training to shoulder the weight of the country while he tries to die a proper death for his lord.

Everyone commenting about Momos age and trust me I get it💯💯and I actually fw Momo as a character and understand it isn’t easy at all whatsoever but I do also understand how ppl could get annoyed by seeing him almost every episode have these moments of self doubt then the flashback😴for the 100th time then the “Oh I’m gonna be the shogun of the land of wano speech” like it does get annoying when it’s repeated over and over again and uk this arc is the longest in OP it makes sense for ppl to get frustrated but I will say u shouldn’t hate Momo for that
