The thing that Erza was (probably) trying to say about the ending scene is that Luffy added a new line to his usual catch-phrase- "i will be the one to surpass you", in between his usual "Monkey d luffy, the man who wil be the next pirate king". he added that line because Kaido and Bigmom are the first 2 REAL competitors for the title that he met on his journey so far(as enemies, so Shanks doesn't count, and he never actually went after BB as an Enemy, yet).

My favorite punch in the series used to be where Luffy punched the celestial dragon. Never thought anything would replace it. This punch did. #1 punch in all of anime. The art and animation from this episode was epic and the look of shock on the yonko's faces...so gratifying. I hope the peak of the Kaido fight gets the same treatment.

When Yamato said Great man she was talking about Roger she didn't tell Ace the King of the Pirates said it that's why he said he wish he could drink with him and Luffy, he didn't realize it was Roger who had the same Dre as Luffy.

Yamato needed the nail to make Ace's Vivre Card. That's the one he gave to Luffy in Alabasta. Everything ties together in OP. BTW. yup, we still don't know Luffy's true dream! Easily one of the best episodes of OP. Kin'emon moment had me crying, as did Luffy carrying everything on his bacl!

Yamato lost all hope but then luffy comes in with the same energy and charisma of Ace. Luffy truly is a liberator, his whole energy is of the guy who liberates everywhere he goes, luffy is an anomaly, he's a great leader and people rally to join his cause because they believe that luffy can achieve the impossible. Luffy is the most charismatic and lovable character in all of anime.
