Like with gear third which should absolutely not make luffy stronger given that its just air in his arm, or how he can light his arm on fire with the red attacks (something he believes humans can do thanks to sanji's diable jambe) or kong organ literally generating new arms on him, also jet culverin which gets *_faster_* the more it extends which is not how that should work at all. actually just Gear 4th in general, puffing himself full of air shouldn't make him stronger but he thinks it does and so it just works. It didn't just come out of nowhere, it's been in our face the whole time.

So well detailed that if you look closely at 0:04 seconds slowly you will see Luffy smoothly into gear 2nd that’s why it went sooo fast and lucci was having to try and sense where he was that transition and as well as the foreboding of the intimidating echoing Gomu Gomu nooooooooooo!!! Was clean because that attack with gear second is deadly especially post Wano with Advanced armament Ryou,Advanced Conquerors Haki Coating, and Gear 5 he’s hella strong now with that title emperor of the seas that’s mad respect Jet Pistol definitely hurt Lucci.

I love how you can hear Luffy’s “Gomu Gomu no…” start to fade in as he gets closer to Lucci. The animator did a great job showing how fast Luffy was moving. Lucci never even had a chance to react.

I know right? This one has the flow of a fast paced cartoon while the cannon one just blows it out of the water with how over the top it is. I really like it because from a plot standpoint the amount of crazy stuff flooding in all at once when Luffy activates his abilities just showcases his limitless imagination running wild.
