He has speed that can almost match Gear 5 and can even clash haki with Gear 5 for a short time and those feats even make him slightly superior to King and Marco. I know what happened in the Manga but he really deserves to be appreciated because his power up is quite significant 💯👌 But I can't imagine how strong it would be if Kaido and King had mastered their devil fruit awakening 😵🤯

If it was just a straight up copy of what the manga did 1 to 1, we wouldn't rly need an adaptation now would we? That's what an anime is for, to expand on the manga. So everything that's Happening, even tho it's not in the manga, it's called an expansion, and it's canon. Both the anime and manga are canon.

I love Vegapunk's very conclusive sounding theory of Devil Fruits being exemplars of what people wish to be or what they want to do/become!!!!! Even more so them being unnatural to Mother Nature is why DF users are weak to the natural sea!!! I guess when Zoans Awaken, they all gain that fiery smoke ribbon on their upper body; and moreover when Zoans awaken, there's a chance that their Zoan Creatures would completely take over their users; like the Impel Down Jailer Beasts.

@@MarcusMapua Theres a great theory ive heard about the Zoan Awakenings on internet. Remember how Kaido said that Awakening happens when your mind and body catch up to the Devil Fruit? The theory says that to Awaken the Zoan you have to become in tune with the being inside the fruit. Since Zoan fruits by nature are said to have a will of their own, to Awaken it you have to become one with it. For example: Luffy's natural goofiness and his desire to be the Pirate King - the most Free person on the seas matches with the Sun God Nikas nature of being the warrior of liberation, bringing smiles to people and having absolute freedom in what he does so his Mind was already in tune with Nika and his body had to catch up learning all the haki and bring himself to the very limit to Awaken. Same with Lucci - Leopards are predators by nature and Luccis desire to murder and spill blood and his body strenght made him attuned to the Fruit and awakened. By this theory Yamato could be Awakened as well since she's very strong and her mind was all about becoming Oden - the protector of Wano. It matched with Ookuchi no Makamis Guardian Deity nature. Of course failing to do this results in "failed" Awakening where the being inside the fruit takes over you like these impel down guards!
