EJ is young, it’s time to try new things and see where it takes him. He seems like a good dude and I’m sure most will wish him the best. As an older rider, I don’t have an interest in watching his clips as my time is limited and I honestly can’t relate and have little interest in watching his training which is very different than mine. I watch this channel to get race tactics and a better understanding of how to be successful in a crit, what are winning strategies and when to jump when an opportunity opens up. I’ve enjoyed seeing EJ flourish, and hope they can make amends. It would be a bad look for them to have a falling out. EJ will fade away quickly if it’s truly a falling out and he starts popping off so I hope he plays it smarter. Jeff is a good man and seems humble so I’m sure they will figure it out and be collab’ing from time to time which will be great to see. I am glad to see the direction of the channel staying true to its purpose, I was starting to get bored at times with the gee golly content, let’s see more race analysis’s and deep dives, no one is better.

Man it seems like you (@Jeff) were trending toward an NCC team. I had been hoping y'all would get it done, hoping that wasn't the visionary split difference. I think y'all should make amends, accept that EJ should roll his own channel/content, but come back to the NCC mothership as a partner/member. I've seen so many great YT partnerships die likely due to financial differences. Don't let it be so! The Scotty Cranmer channel and Jujimufu were both centered around iconic characters but had supporting roles (Big Boy, Tom, respectively) that left major gaps after each split. In this case, I think NCC will do wonderfully even post-split, and I think EJ may make it on his own too - however we (the 'royal we') would benefit from seeing collaborative content in the future. I was hoping yall would be rocking NCC jerseys and taking a shot at being the next Legion.

​@jamese4729 It is on EJs new KZbin channel. I had to do some digging to find it...sounds like it is much more training focused and reality TV oriented versus racing tactics focused. From EJs mouth it definitely wasn't a clean break...but when finances and creative control is concerned it's always going to be more awkward

Your description of the road feel reminds me a lot of the CAAD12, which was reviewed as having a “braille-like” road feel (it is still a rocket ship but I can confirm this is accurate). Also sorry to see the split, but you guys told a great story with a beginning, middle, and natural conclusion. You both should be proud of that work and I look forward to seeing your respective creative/riding futures.

You should note that the rc pro is the 2nd from the top. The highest tier foil is the premium which is the only bike to use a different frame carbon layup.

Although unnecessary but I wanted to comment this: I think what EJ did was a bit childish, I'm not saying he shouldn't have done what he did, but the approach really puts things in perspective and shows things for the way they are. I won't list logical reasons here, but that's my understanding. "EJ's training camp" channel was (probably) a surprise to even Jeff, I'd believe. But of course, I don't know either of them personally.. just speculations. I am fine with the really rare BTS videos, but I mainly want to see content that's helpful to me and is to the point - which is the definition of Norcal cycling channel for us veiwers.

Love my new Foil RC10. How's the 3 piece seatpost working for you? Mine keeps creaking a few days after servicing (silicone lubricant) which is pretty annoying. asked Scott about this but they haven't replied. 1 piece post looks like the wtg but out of stock, as are their stems.

It freaks me out when I take the accessory cover off 😆 like not much material holding me up. Mine has been fine maybe I’m lucky I didn’t add anything but a little carbon grip might help, good luck

Just to confirm, it's never the bike unless you have a mechanical. The guy who wins a race would have won it (and may have won it) on an entry level bike with a 105 mechanical group set. All the money in the world isn't buying you a win. It's always been the motor, it'll always be the motor. So while I ride a Scott, and I love Scott bikes, if you don't have the legs, that beautiful bike isn't going to make one iota of difference.

Love these bikes, they look awesome, but i disagree with you in the good price of the foil RC30. With other brands you get much more than aluminium wheels and a 105 di2, thats not a good choice. The RC Pro Bike is compared to it as a high value bike better between the competing brands in the price point
